Okay so basically, Komaeda never believed in Hinata (or their relation ship) since he was always busy being used for his talent by the organization i assume. So when it became a big issue between them, Hinata chose to cut off his own limbs which will make him useless and dependent to Komaeda and have Komaeda decide if he wants to comply to him or not (holding or letting go of the string). All of Hinata's actions are to prove to Komaeda that he's the one and only thing he need. Komaeda however regrets a little bit about how things turn out, shown through some of his thoughts like 'losing his healthy beauty'. In the end he still thought of it like the cycle of good and bad luck, with the good luck being able to monopolize Hinata, and bad luck being the loss of Hinata's limbs and speaking ability.

Why is everyone bashing on the wife? Sure, she's made many wrong decisions, like deciding to keep getting together with the chicken boy, but most of the things that's happened to her is not her fault. First, she got married to someone who didn't even care about her and only sees her as an object (mind that I am talking about the Hajin before, not now. And we might get to see their backstory later so I can't be sure.) That's going to be hard on anyone, when your husband always come home late at night, never has sex with you, and doesn't even tell you where he works. Also remember, Siyeon had a split personality. It is not something you can control, so when her mind goes blank and she becomes slutty, that's not her true self. Lastly, when she had sex with yurang and the mob of ski mask guys, it was because she wanted to find Siyeon. Obviously, that's not the best thing to do, but given her circumstances (her life was basically on the line), that was the only thing to do. What else could she have done? Just cry about it? That's not only useless, it's also going to make us (the readers) hate her even more. And it's quite admirable that she's still sane. (This is really the last thing >.<)This doesn't really help my argument but... it's hard not to feel good...

Phew that was long. Could probably write another one for the chicken boy but I will probably get my feelings hurt lol.

Because of war, one loses family & everything in life while another by duty has to commit crime which causes him guilty inside though being admired as a "Hero" and also becomes handicapped. How lucky they meet & can console each other poor souls.
