I've read the novel few days ago and my blood is still boiling because of the half-a$$ed ending.
So,
Cliff will rescue his mother and Lise, leaving our cinnamon Edith in the basement.
Edith will be tortured by Sophia and that a$$ of her brother and tortured to the point even her facial conture changes. At last she escapes but later gives up on surviving. And ends up getting caught by the Rudwicks/ Ludwicks.
At the decision grounds, the duke gives the right of Edith's punishment to Killian and he tried his best to prove her innocence. So, everyone was ordered to be executed except Edith. She was put in jail.
*MASS SPOILER AND BOOMER*
The author of the novel, who made our Edith's life hell is no other than tge tra$h Lise. *surprise*
She is the notorious villain who summoned 12 more Ediths before current Edith and each of them died the same painful death. Current Edith is the only one who escaped the matrix.

So, Lise couldn't bear villainess, Edith's survival as she was supposed to die in the hands of Killian. So, she goes to jail in the excuse of giving her hot water and self harms herself with a dagger. At the same time, Cliff and Killian comes because of her screams. Cliff, mf, readily believed Lise while Killian strongly knew Lise is the culprit. So, he proved Lise is culprit and takes Edith, who faints due to stress, lack of sleep and fatigue, to doctor.
Meanwhile, Renan (that blonde long haired guy) proves Edith's innocence at the execution grounds where Edith's family was executed. And the ignorant Duke Rudwick finally believes that Edith is innocent.
*WHAT MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL*
Despite Lise being such a trash, she wasn't punished in any fvcking way. Lise has no remorse that she has killed 12 more Ediths. She was even more trash before she was reincarnated as Lise. There's no redemption arc or punishment for Cliff or Lise. That trash at the end ended up as the duchess Ludwick/Rudwick and Cliff the Duke while, our couple, Edith and Killian, who deserves everything went to the far territory that was assigned by the Duke to live their life happily.
*sighs loud enough to blow away the vegetation on the earth*

Chapter 75 review:
The dude, the copstar, didn't even change a bit. Like not a little bit. The place where our cutie uke said 'he's all bark but not bite' something like that...I was like if he can think like that, then in a desperate situation he might even act like that. So, to tone down the red flag-ness of seme, the author wrote that uke isn't scared of seme.
The thing that triggers me is that even though he had been forcing himself on the uke, who knows nothing about healthy relations and know only about torture, abuse and sh!t, and has no intention of taking opinion of the uke. He keeps doing whatever he wants and expects the uke to like it. (Surprisingly our uke isn't also not resisting). Our cinnamon roll will end up with red flag instead of green flag.
I really want the copstar to turn into a green leaf (since green flag is too much expectation for him).
This might cause controversy since this yaoi might be fav of many readers. But I hope you this review won't be hated as its a honest review.
To be honest, and while nakwon will never stop being the bitch he is, i do believe he changed, at where we are in the story, i'm pretty sure he'd rather kill himself than actually go out of his way to hurt mokwa.
Now yes, he's still forcing himself on mokwa, but seems like whatever is going on between the two of them isn't totally disgusting mokwa now so.. in the end the story made it fine, but from the get go, ain't no way you could ever fall in love with your rapist, this is fantasy after all, it's good to point it out yeah
But if we turn off our brain a bit, it's a good redemption arc.
I totally agree with you, Nakwon has not changed a bit even if he was all talk, threatening Mokwa is inexcusable especially considering their very recent and sore past, he is very selfish and just expects Mokwa to accept him because he loves him. He keeps acting like a spoiled brat that was never told no his whole life so being rejected at every turn is an earth shattering experience for him and what’s even worst is that Mokwa isn’t trying at all to shake him off, which will be what he deserves

Well honestly it's not surprising.....I feel like I never expected nakwon to change to begin with....for me I think nakwon didn't change but rather his behavior towards mokwa did change(because of his feelings) and I kinda agree with mokwa in the sense like I feel like nakwon wouldn't do things like he did in the past towards mokwa and so it was kinda on the bark but no bite....at the same time though nakwon would just not give mokwa a break and back away....he might not hurt mokwa but at the same time won't leave Mokwa even if Mokwa wanted to.....tbh I am just happy that Mokwa's thought process wasn't like he might create prob so I have no other choice but give in rather it was like I do have other choices but I wanna see what happens when I choose this one....
Although I am kinda rather curious as to what Nakwon would do if Mokwa ever fell for someone other than Nakwon....I just feel either Nakwon would lock Mokwa up or leave him... though we will never see that happening

If you wanna learn how to unnecessarily increase chapters with unnecessary conflit and unnecessary God knows what misunderstanding, this book is for you. Especially the FL. She isnt capable of taking a solid stand for herself, making things difficult for the ML.
I guess for the first time I'm hating a FL.
This was my fav. I love the ML and MC so damn much. But these MFs are literally cheating on each other now? Where's the passion? Did it fly away the moment their ex...ops...fatherly figures for both sides appear? Like what the heck? Their are falling for their fathers. The moment I think I won't get worse, its getting more down the hill. At this rate, I feel like I am going to drop it and not gonna pick up ever again. I was still reading with one side cheated but now...heck, both of them are cheating. Sorry but cheating arcs aren't for me.
The author has some issues and it's showing
This story was all nice upto chapter 100. After that, in order to drag the story, it turned sh!tty AF. The FL found her happy ending at around 100 and the bad people are punished. But after that, the bad people again rose to power even after they were dragged down to streets and now they are after the FL to destroy her life and happiness. Like heck! Give them a break man! Let the FL breathe. Its as if the author is hell bent on showing the bad will win over the good, not the other way around. Like why?
I'm dropping this and I advise you not to read it till the end.
If you are into that 2nd lead romance and revenge plot, read upto chapter 100 and then drop it.

I thought it was an angsty kinda plot but it turned out to be a plot that would drive the reader crazy instead. There is no regret arc. The one hell of Red carpet top will just toy with bottom and bottom isn't that saint as well. He can neither leave the top nor stay with him. It's like guilty pleasure shit. After the seme did so wrong to uke, uke should have left seme and lead a new life. But No! Our boi loves seme and he returns to the a$$hole seme. I feel sorry for uke's mom and sis. They tried their best to save uke but stubborn uke chooses hell for the rest of his life.
When you read this manhwa, you will feel like pulling the entire hair off your scalp but still that won't suffice. Because the uke kept suffering but still he won't leave the seme. It's kinda plot where the stubborn a$$ uke and a$$hole seme suit each other...we readers are the read mad heads for expecting angst arc from this manhwa.
I am kinda disappointed to read this type of manhwa from this author/artist. Their previous works are very nice but this one is a complete flop!
I jumped into the manga because of the cover art but now at 3 am in morning, I'm regretting why I did just chose to read this one. There is no character development or anything.
Like the Seme met Uke after the former grew up and probably within 2 days they did the deed. Like TF!!!?? I agree that they are acquaintances who used to exchange few words through the window but that doesn't mean you will do IT just after 2 days of meeting. Like there is no 'I LOVE YOU' shit or anything. The plot development isn't good as well.

Solid 8.5/10 (I'm not a big fan of side stories. But if it's for Main story, the rating will be 9/10)
If you are into second-chance romances (partly) and with something like a cheating arc (not fully duh), like misunderstandings and stuff, then this one is exactly for you!
The first part goes about FL's POV and how betrayed she felt...even though everything comes to light at last and the ML is proven innocent. Our boy didn't think of some bish and was completely loyal to our baby since the very beginning.
2nd part goes where the story is from ML's POV which shows his fears and his arc where he grows anxious and his inner feelings which forced him to do this sh!t in order to protect his girl.
The thing I didn't like at the end is...showing how the villain girl is pitiful. Yeah! We get it she is pitiful, she never got proper love and all the backstory but THAT DOESN'T JUSTIFY HER DEEDS OF TRYING TO STEAL SOMEONE's MAN AND THAT TOO BY USING CHEAP TRICKS!!!!!!!
Apart from the side stories, the main story is quite good, angsty and quite well-written.
Upto chapter 65...

I've read this story so far, clinging to the hope that this idiot of the FL and that ML would converse like proper adults and get back together but no!
The ML is ready flag (initial chapters) but FL is red sea which even makes the ML look like a green flag.
Like FL doesn't know what she wants. ML is continuously chasing her, trying to patch things up but FL is continuously pushing him away and then cries about she misses him. Like what the fvck?!
If you push a human that much, they are bound to leave you. But this ML is still clinging. You know why? Because the author wants him to.
The story is going nowhere. There is no proper conversation. Even though the conversation goes, the FL speaks in such language that common sense is nowhere to be found. She will push him away and then cry about missing him.
This FL is one of the worst...sorry, my bad...this FL is the worst FL in the world of manhwa, manhua, manga and even novels.
The rating shouldn't be 8.6 but 6 or 5 out of 10, or even less.
