this ended quicker than I expected. so good, I wish more people knew about this story.

I'm glad more people don't. So victim blamey. No one ever actually sided with Tokage. Not even Shinobu. He never felt one iota of the pain that Tokage felt yet tells him he should want to continue to live? What a brat he is. I also wish the blonde haired b**** had died. She thinks torture is just fine for a boy who merely wanted to save his father's life and stealing a sacrifice from a god? She should be PRAISING him. That's why it would have been a happy ending if the god and the blonde haired b**** had instead been sent to burn for eternity in that fiery place. Much better ending. Sad it didn't happen. :(

let me guess, kei is the son of a single dad who works too much/is rich/famous/strict and kei got tired of life at home and having to meet expectations + gets compared to his brother a lot so he left to live by himself. aka every single angsty emotionless seme on the face of the yaoi planet

By some of the lines seems like he used to prostitute himself, his brother did box for a little while but stopped soon, which might mean that something happened to him (at the very least it makes it less likely for their parents to be strict since strict parents often have you see through the things you pick up whether you like it or not to teach you responsibility) or either way cuts the possibility of the brother being an over-achiever he'd get constantly compared to, and he looks very used to fighting, both with fists and in a more lateral sense, other than not being above to using underhanded methods to get what he wants. More than a rich brat with an inferioroty complex he sounds like someone that grew up in a somewhat unstable and difficult home situation imo, if he was the former it'd be easier for him to arrange a way to get away from home without having to resort to what he did (which we can convene is a rather desperate way to secure a living place)

aren't you the son of a boxer? couldn't you put up a better fight? this isn't hot -
it's not like i hate it because of the coercion/rape/etc, but this is just degrading

He probably considered Kei a better fighter or didn't want to cause a noisier ruckus (his family lives in these building, how would he explain eventual injuries to both of them happened while he was just showing Kei his room, especially w/o exposing himself?). He probably felt cornered nd that's y he didn't put up a bigger fight

can anyone explain hirokawa's past to me? most things were implied but I want to know if i got it right. i understand he was bullied but what was it that landed him in hospital? did he fall down stairs to be expelled? why did he take that guy with him?

He was bullied and I think that guy he drag was the one who bullies him. And I also think he was fed up with everything also that time he met yamato and want to met him so like killing two birds with one stone he uses his bully as an escape route. He was hospitalized due to injury

From what I gathered he was bullied in his previous school and his dad wasn't helping. He only cared about the family name forcing his son to go to that school. He finally got fed up with everything and decided to take matters into his own hands. He got in a fight with one of the guys who used to bully him and fell down the stairs grabbing onto the guy. He ended up in the hospital and the bully's family (who I assume is rich) made it so he couldn't go back to that school. In the end he ended up transferring to Yamato's school
just read ch 1 but who goes to the infirmary for a paper cut??
