Now, on the Taku subject. Let me rant for a minute: People wanna give him shit still for being a little manipulative?! Like 90% of yaoi/bl out there are full of nothing but manipulative characters that Y'ALL end up drooling all over them once they've "changed"...but guess Taku doesn't deserve to get the same treatment because of this Haesoo x Jowoon ship obsession. Now, I'm not saying I want Haesoo to end with Taku (though I did in the beginning of the story) but honestly, Haesoo doesn't deserve to end up with either Jowoon or Taku. He needs to man the hell up, and figure out what he NEEDS. Which is to figure himself out AWAY from them both. He's unintentionally hurting people (both Jowoon AND Taku) because he's still all so confused and thinking using his dick (well ass) instead of his heart or damn head. Huh would you look at that. Someone who excuses manipulation and shaming people who are against it by wrongly calling them out for supporting redeemed characters. Those problematic characters have had character development Taku has not. Imagine justifying "being a little manipulative". What Haesoo is doing may not be the noblest thing but all that becomes tolerable and understandable since Taku himself volunteered for the pain he's feeling. Sadly that justifies whatever crap he's getting from Haesoo rn. He welcomed Haesoo to use him as a rebound and even told him he could pretend to love him and he wouldn't care (now we know that's not true). Taku signed up for everything. This is why you don't get obsessed over anything. Oh but dw there's still a hope for Taku. Him feeling heartbreak and pain from his one-sided love for the first time in his life would be his most suiting character development. He's become a changed man after all this. He did treat his past partners like disposable sweets, after all.
it'd be great if Taku would get a development but as what I've read so far that's highly unlikely
So people shouldn’t point out him being manipulative bc other characters are??? That doesn’t even make sense, so many people think of him as a character that has done nothing wrong so there’s nothing wrong with pointing out his current wrongdoings
