After looking at the raws, i think the author might have tricked us into thinking what we think of the story cuz the seme's character is a serious 360, also that abuse in the bathroom might have been a dream.

After all the way the hotel was found, plus the strange and vivid dream the MC had makes me suspect Hyunjin is the flower guy. Plus all the clones when they die burst into petals.
