huh's Manga

ok so surprisingly this was REALLY good. the art style is pleasing and the plot was interesting throughout the whole manhwa. i do have a few issues with the characters though. i was intrigued by suu’s personality and backstory and i liked to see him more serious and violent with characters like saharah or gahwe. unfortunately we never see it with suryeon. he seems self-aware that he can’t „disobey” him but it’s tiring and even annoying as it’s going on, to see him be so submissive and never standing up for himself when he actually CAN. it was shown, that when he and saharah began the process of becoming one, he can use his powers as well, so it bothered me that he never attempted that with suryeon.
the ending itself is half-assed and so many things haven’t been explained. we still don’t know much about suu’s background, what languages he can speak, i don’t think anyone else besides saharah even knows he can speak that ancient script language. and besides all that, what about the imperial will?? did they forget that’s kind of important? or was it not and they just brought it up for no reason at all? wish they also explored suu becoming a dragon-like being, that was also never elaborated so i don’t even know how it went.
i hate suryeon, no.1 hater, his character can be brought down to an entitled little crown prince who thinks he can do anything he wishes to because he has power. like technically? yeah he can but doesn’t mean he should.
