It feels like the author tried to appease both sides by not letting them be together but making it open ended for the shippers. The ending doesn't have any real closure which sucks.

Oh I understand, I was just stating that, in general, character development is what the people are here for. We all want to see how the characters we love face their challenges and how it may or may not change them, and how they will continue on afterwards (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
