The hell was Sir Lionel telling her? "I do not want your decision to be swayed to one way or the other by people, please decide now if you love somebody thanks. And also if you want to be the empress. And leaving the north. And stopping being yourself" dude, if telling her to divorce is treason you're putting on her the same pressure xDdddd

I didn't see it like that, he was truly trying to help, he saw the position the emperor is and obviously he won't be the one to pressure her to make a decision, so Lionel took this job, which I don't think was bad, he didn't want to influence the decision itself but she needs to make one, if she takes too much time, it'll be bad for both of them, which doesn't mean it's a easy decision to make

Calling her a friend because you have lived with her for a long time and you shared stuff... The story clearly shows that it was just one-sided. It is sad that in RL this happens, and you invest time in people that do not really care about you, just care about the way you compliment and be there for them, but they will never do the same for you...
Maybe I am just comparing fantasy with RL, but it brings me back memories. I would love to see how they plan to resolve this in the end.

Please, mind your fking business. She's married, she's divorced... It is HER problem, not yours.
And when you go talk to that dude, instead of telling her directly... You go and tell the other dude? What a messed logic do you have in your brain?
Ah, sorry, too much hate.
Good evening, nice weekend everybody.

I do not know where to start with this many wrong things. If you have a voice that tells you "do not believe in anybody" even when you are having the time of your life, I think you should listen to it. You listened to it when it was Robert, the herbalist, and everything was going fine because that man NEVER did anything wrong to you.
But you go with a dude that gives you promises, fails a bunch of them and you still stay there? Please take away 5 years of my life to go away from there. Make me disappear, let me change my hair colour, whatever is needed to make everybody forget about me because you said it yourself, if you are not going to be accepted anywhere then you can be anywhere you want, but at least stay where they want you.
Living like a doll is not my kind of thing.

In her defense she didn't actually go with him because she fell in love with him. She went with him because Robert and the mother and daughter had been arrested and or beaten on her behalf. She did it in fear of her three friends being caught in the cross hairs of war. Otherwise she knew full well he was lying to her about loving her. She just hoped that he might have the decency to treat her like a human. (He does not he's a total piece of shit) I seriously hate it when people take one trait and make that why the person was a killer instead of literally the trauma induced on them by life. Or them just being psychotic. Like omg don't let the killer be fat now he's gonna hate all fat people for life

HAHAHAHAHAHAH oh well I agree 100% with the 1 trait = hate the world forever, but I guess it is a good step to move the story to the part they want to.
I tend to stop reading those kind of stories because... Sometimes they make no sense.
I understand the reasons of the FL to do what she does BUT the voice that drains her life has lots of facts here.
Please more grandpa characters.
