I feel that people who want this to be a bl or yaoi are completely missing the point. Seeing Yuri's struggles with being a designer in a more patriarchal world is a really enjoyable and important aspect of the story. Without it the story would not be the same. Every time Yuri or the Queen manage a win against the repressing societal expectations I get an overwhelming feeling of happiness and pride in being able to see these characters grow and gain further support. The romance and funny/fruity gender confusion ensuing is a bonus but it doesn't need to be a bl to be a meaningful beautiful story
