My first memory is catching a glimpse of inuyasha on late at night before my parents made me go to sleep. Later when I was in middle school the image just popped in my head and I goggled it and re-discovered anime! I did watch pokemon and yu-gi-oh as well but I didn't count them as anime as a kid.
When I was 7 or 8, I watched Howl's Moving Castle and a couple other movies, but it wasn't until I was around 11 that I really got into it. I had happened to notice Sword Art Online on Netflix and thought to try it out. After that, I've been completely hooked. :)

I watched Death Note when I was around 14, before that I barely knew what anime was. Its been 6 years now, and boy have things changed. :P
