Hear me out, I know that he has received kindness just from his brother (manipulative bit*h) but if he is so smart and sees that his own mother doesn't even look at him and only cares about his brother, why doesn't he realize that his own brother doesn't actually care about him? His brother didn't love him from the start, he was manipulating him. At present he thinks he can go back to having a good relationship with his older brother if his grandfather gives up o him, this after his brother almost killed him.
