tbh i think them putting blush on the bottom's face is to "signal" to the readers that they're the bottom. u always see it in yaoi where they try to signal to the audience who the bottom is by either having them be small petite uwu, blushing like a tomato (like bro do u have a fever or smth??), or straight up being groped or topless in the covers.

its kinda weird how they try to feminize the bottom. even if they advertise it as being manly buff ukes they still try to make them all blushy and uwu, or worse they just have them be assaulted by the seme to make them seem "weaker". dont get me wrong i love feminine ukes, if fem ukes have no fans then i am dead but its gotten to a point where it just feels like theyre making even buff manly ukes more "feminine" to sell more.

and i agree with one of the other commenters who said they make them skinnier as the manhwa goes on. the twinkification epidemic is real let buff ukes stay buff !! i hate it here.
