My late Dad used to say, there’s nothing like a Grandmother’s love. He was raised by his grandmother after his parents abandoned him and he strived to be the parent and then grandparent his grandmother was to him. And now I try my best to emulate that as a parent, but this is so damn similar, it has my heartbreaking a little tbh.
Him talking to his grandma and truly understanding just how much she loves him with these last few chapters have really got me missing my country af Dad because he operated damn near the same way when it came to raising me and my siblings. I love this, and I’m so glad to see this represented in such a honest and thoughtful way. Thank you to the creator and thank you to the translator.
I’m just trying to hate finish this manga at this point. The miscommunication in this one is freaking wild and the uke is annoying as hell. Seme sucks too, but the uke just grinds on my nerves. The art is gorgeous and the little brother saves it for me, but I’m hoping the end is soon ngl…
