hi, med student! it’s not recommended because the sugars of the chocolate could lead to a yeast infection in the area. patients could also experience discomfort or burning sensation in the rectal area if there’s any type of cuts or abrasions that are typical of the zone. other than this, is unlikely that any other symptoms could develop if the patient doesn’t have any food allergies. an enema would be recommended to clean the cavity and avoid any other type of complications
