I think Cole just idealizes Alex. He thinks of him as only "hot" and this king that attracts everyone. Also, the concept of being attracted to someone just because they're straight makes me feel like cole wants to chase? Maybe he doesn't think he's worthy of love so he chases after someone whom he has a really low chance of getting together with?
And in the end despite being together cole is always on edge and has trust issues because he puts Alex on some kind of pedestal.
The reason why I do like Alex and Cole together though is because Alex does put a ton of effort. He never cheats and he isn't afraid to stand up for the person he loves.
Brad and Cole in my opinion seem more compatible both sexually, mentally and emotionally because Cole doesn't put Brad on some pedestal and views him as an equal which in my opinion is better since Cole doesn't have to feel subconscious all the time.
I feel like this will end in a threesome where both Brad and Alex will take care of Cole together... but idk
Tbh communication can be really hard especially when in this case it hit an insecurity of the uke where in a same-sex relationship not only are they shunned by society but also the ukes perception of not being able to start a family. (They could adopt)
The conflicting thoughts of the uke about the seme being attracted to both males and females adds to the ukes insecurity.
His way of distancing himself is a defense mechanism so that he won't have to face the reality that maybe if he did talk to the seme about his worry, it would make the seme reconsider and thus leave the uke. The distance allows the uke to gain an illusionary sense of control so that if they do break up he already mentally prepared for it.
On another note, the uke would have eventually been forced to reveal what's bothering him to the seme (due to his persistent characteristic) even if it weren't for the accident.
The fact that the seme ended up losing his memory was a way for the uke to run away from the problem even if it was killing him inside. I mean at that point, he couldn't really talk to the seme about their relationship and what was bothering him because the seme would have been confused. To some degree, I feel like the uke felt like he lost him and let him go because he decided that the seme would be unhappy with him because he couldn't give him a child like a woman could. The fact that the seme kept going back to him was as if they were destined for eachother which makes the story so sweet.
Moral of the story: if you're meant to be, staying honest and open will make you close and always bring you back together-- the reason relationships don't work out is because you aren't meant to be
Something about this is just off.
1. If you're rich and powerful do something about it, not put the blame on the female lead. It was clearly out of her control. Moreover, he should make it so that the marriage is just a contract between them but they're still free to do what they want. The love usually happens later anyways when they feel a sense of freedom to love rather than be pressured to bond
2. Her mom is just a no-no. Putting all that pressure and deceiving her daughter is just wrong. She should have definitely talked to her daughter before making such an arrangement behind her back. Even if it may have been the only option, it's so wrong to deceive your child and basically sell them for money and guilt trip them because "you're sister is in terrible condition".
So basically Sungho is replaying all the times him and Dohyun had sex in the past (in that storage room)?
However you look at it, in the past, while Sungho may not have necessarily been too keen on having sex (only did it in order to not lose Dohyun) with Dohyon, it was still consensual on his part.
So even though Dohyon was kinda pushy in the past, Sungho could've rejected him.
But in this kidnapping situation, it's pretty much rape and that's what's different between the past and present.
While it may have been consensual in the past (Since Dohyun gave him the right to refuse), could it be that it inevitably traumatized Sungho? Hence why he is taking his 'revenge'? Or am I misunderstanding something?
I wanted justice for both of them. their stories are fucked....I wanted them to find peace with eachother. both of them did not deserve to be bullied and taken advantage of. Also, han did sangwoo a favor by rejecting him because look at his independent ass becoming a CEO. I doubt Hans personality would have changed because his mental stability seemed to have been deteriorating and he definitely needed a wake up call but not LIKE THISSS...
They're so pitiable they need to hug eachother and a slap on the face and for sangwoo to tell han it's gunna be okay
They should have formed an alliance and worked together from the start this is just sad
but I get the moral of the story to not look down on ppl but that could have still been achieved with creating a happy, less chaotic ending
sorry about this post my thoughts aren't that organized at 4am in the morning
