Sigh. For once can't the ML just be a cute guy who likes the MC? Keep the background and danger, whatever, I don't care. But must the MLs always be manipulative always-in-control smug assholes? It's frustrating. For once I'd like to see a strong MC with a weak or at least NORMAL ML.

I don't like the ml. He quite literally threatened to take her child from her if fl didn't marry him??? I understand that he loves her. I understand that it is also his child. But they haven't met in 8 years. She raised Shuu, not him. And yet he waltzes up to them, refuses to leave them alone, goes behind the fl's back befriending her child, ASKS HER TO CALL HIM DAD, and demands she marry him or else. WTF KIND OF PERSON DOES THAT TO SOMEONE THEY LOVE.
