I mean, who cares? Let people have fun. I do agree that some ppl take it too far / have weird undertones of fetishizations, but the concept of shipping two random (fictional!) dudes in itself isn't a big deal imo. It's like one of the many parts of fandom culture

That's the point tho lololol like it's fun if being able to enjoy the fandom and ship characs just for the fun of it whether it romantic, familial, or friendship lol as long as it's not illegal or immoral, cuz the story is nice and all but you'd def think that these two would make for a lovely couple even if they literally shared one frame lol cuz ......
