I was introduced to claymore with the anime adaptation, but this is way better. One of the only shounen stories out there with a majority female cast. I love that each of the characters has different and complicated relationships. I feel like female dynamics never get explored as much as men do. I did get annoyed with claire's character during the middle of the story since I felt she was the blandest character in it. but her development went on nicely. overall 8/10
