I mean we did get some extra info this time about Yeonwu’s past but still...It felt so short...Btw It’s clear the man has been through a lot and judging by the situation, his suffering is far from over. I also think we can say with more confidence now that Yeonwu isn’t as twisted as we initially thought. He just comes across as a sad, lost soul who desperately wants to belong somewhere.
The absence of a family or a mother figure in his life seems to have been filled by the chairwoman. His job at the host club also feels purely circumstantial now just a way to pay off his debts rather than something driven by ulterior motives. And his so-called “love” for the chairwoman isn’t pure or romantic at all it’s more like he’s trying to label his emotional dependence as love, even though it clearly isn’t.
For me, the most disturbing part for this chapter though was Rosa’s mother. Her behavior really reminded me of those lecherous old rich men who date/marry women younger than their daughters. The way she talks to Yeonwu treats him alternately like a son, a boytoy in bed and even tries to make him a father figure for Rosa. It’s so unsettling, to say the least. Plus he is literally one of the orphans from the orphanage she was funding...
As for Rosa, she seems to be growing more unhinged and frustrated with everything that’s happening. Considering that she remembers Yeonwu from their past encounter and has shown clear interest in him in the recent chapters...Plus I think what truly upset her in this chapter was hearing him say that he "really loves her mother".
Sigh...We are in for one messy ride...This is about to get so much more interesting and complicated!! I really wish I had found it later now I can't even let it marinate cause of my curiosity...

Hopefully she also knows that many have been enjoying her work and looking forward to the new chapters...Also if possible do purchase at least some of the chapters to help the artist espescially since this is an og work...

And the way I actually mentioned in a previous comment of mine about how this manhwa feels like an uno reverse of the usual clishe plots and now the artist themselves mentioned it lol
So, for starters it really seems like Jaeon wanted something deeper with Rosa but she was the one who cut things off and turned their relationship into more of a FWB situation. She also didn't seem all that interested in sex or fantasies and it feels like she’s been going through the motions rather than actually being into Jaeon? Plus the only reason her desire and dominant side seemed to awaken this time was because of Yeonwu...She was literally imagining him while spanking Jaeon’s ass and cheek which is kind of wild lol Meanwhile, Jaeon on the other hand seems happy and relieved cause man things she is finally showing more interest in him and that they might explore new things together...Btw he never struck me as the type who’d get turned on from being hit but it was hot lol
And that ending scene of the chapter though...It did kinda make me feel sorry for Yeonwu watching him cry like that while watching a film, it reminded me of myself on my depressed nights sitting alone in my room...I am sure there is more to him though and I cannot wait for us to see his pov but yeah he also seems to have a vulnerable side to him that's genuine...Also the way Rosa held his hand felt so soft...I’m really excited to see where the main plot goes from here!! The artist is so good at building up the tension and pacing!!
Btw this is one of the few manhwa where I like to see FL with both ML and SML...Like they are both so fine ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
Like there are barely any chapters out and yet we already have 71 pages of comments lmaoo This really proves just how addictive this manhwa is! The unique and twisted theme combined with the spectacular art makes for a wonderful combination indeed~ (≧∀≦)
And omg what a chapter this was...I will have to re-read this at least once before collecting my thoughts lol The plot is thickening and Rosa's "awakening" is soon uproaching ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
This is so much more than your average BL manhwa for me...Really it has touched me deeply and each new chapter seems to dig even deeper...The layers, the complexity of it all and the tragically poetic writing...All the love stories that feel so full of longing yet destined to remain unblossomed...Plus I really feel for them and their struggle for freedom when it comes to those challenging times in history.
Btw I truly recommend this and regret putting it off for so long just because of the SE...But guys it's really so worth it and as much as there is sadness and melancholy lingering throughout, they’re portrayed in a way that does not stifle you.

TJ is still tanned about the same level with the og artstyle if you check chapter 1... If anything it's just that in the new art they have added better shading and contrast with the lighting. The biggest change for me it's honestly the features that are somewhat different yet still familiar but you can't call them ugly. It's different but still nice. I am already used to it tbh.
And about the plot...Again, it was known that this manhwa would not be rainbows & sunshines even from the 1st season and that it would later on delve into even darker and toxic territory...It's not the first or last BL to do have these type of scenes either and I mean some very well known ones. If you can't handle it that's totally fine! You can always just drop it and find something else to read!
Her saying her mother likes the same things she does(or the other way around if we go by age lmao) was quite the eye opener!! So her mother must really do all this with Yeonwu with some other intentions in mind right?? Cause why would you bring a guy your daughter's age who is also her type inside your house and say you'll marry him?? Having fun outside and paying his debt for him is one thing, but actually bringing him in your home especially with his background and a young daughter?! Like what kinda experiment does she want to conduct??
Plus the symbolic scene of Rosa dressing him up being compared to how she would dress up her bunny gifted by her mother...Truly a boytoy that's what he is...
And finally we got some extra info about Yeonwu's background...Since he used to be a call boy with debt ain't no way he is as innocent as he presents himself!! He must have seen and experienced most of things out there in that host club AND his actions around Rosa are truly questionable and somewhat irritating!! It's as if he is intentionally trying to ruffle her feathers and get reactions out of her while trying to appear innocent and friendly...Which makes me want to see Rosa mess him up even more!! The only annoying part is that he might even enjoy it and be waiting for exactly that lmao

With all that being said I am still VERY much invested in this ><
She almost sounded as if she was setting them up with eo lmao Saying to your daughter to help dress him up in your stead cause she knows what she would like anyway it's crazy work...Like Rosa is so right calling him her mom's boytoy and reacting the way she has...And don't get me started with Yeonwu...Whatever sob story he got going it ain't convincing me at all, he looks like he is hiding secrets of his own! Other way it wouldn't be a stretch to say our Rosa seems to be the most normal member of this "family" and so I don't care what she will be doing to Yeonwu later or how her mom acts cause they both kinda had it coming!
This story was so well paced and absolutely captivating that I couldn’t put it down! I ended up finishing it by staying up late into the night because of how invested I was.
I especially loved the character development for most of our main characters, it really made their journeys feel meaningful and earned. The final chapter was beautifully done with such a heartfelt way to bring everything full circle and end on an emotional note.
I also appreciated that the ending leaves room for potential side stories (which I’d definitely love to see^^).
In the end, Mag and Jack truly felt fated for each other. Their meeting, their healing, and the way they helped each other rediscover the will to live was truly moving and perfectly written.
I'm so glad I finally got to read and finish this manga! It was such a beautifully written story, and I truly savored every moment of it. I absolutely loved both couples and the different kinds of love they portrayed to us.
Alta and Ile’s love felt so desperate and almost poetic, it almost reminded me of Romeo and Juliet but only this time they actually got their happy ending.
As for the second couple I’m honestly so grateful we got those extra chapters! It was clear there was something deeper between the prince and Slen and I’m so glad we got to see that getting explored in more detail!
I can't believe I ended up finishing this in one go late into the night...I guess that's a way to show how addicting this manga is!
It has such a melancholic vibe to it that kinda makes me worry for the ending but none the less it's very beautifully written...It kind of reminded me of peter pan...This manhwa writer sure has a brilliant mind!

I am absolutely loving this so far!! I think the author has balanced this story well. Both survival aspect wise and idol life wise! I also like how we get to see bts scenes from the show and fan chats it makes it feel all more realistic! Btw am I the only one who wishes to see our Taeyoon and Hyunsung get friendly with eo? Idk I kinda ship it haha But like seriously I feel like they could become good buddies since they feel like birds of a feather. Both are competitive, driven and got that main character aura! I love it! Btw I love the groups as a whole as well! They are growing on me especially Seiren ><
It's already been almost half a year since the first season ended...I know that authors usually take month long breaks after a season but this is kinda pushing it. Do we know if the author is doing fine and if there is some other reason the new season isnt coming out? Thank you Kaoru for the official translation updates though!
So Varia is a regressor who has traveled back in time to fix things (based on the novel our Leo was originally reading) while our baby Leo is a transmigrator who got herself inside the novel in a new found body...Hence why Varia seems so curious about our Leo! This family background is quite wild haha But I have to say our Phileo is quite the lucky man having such a daughter and wife duo ><
