What I got from it all so far is :So Sean and Jake were friends but Jake had feelings for him and also over heard Sean one day say to their classmates who question their relationship "That it would be gross to be more than friends" which hurts Jake deeply. Later Sean meets Kyle and they fall inlove and start dating (?) I guess Sean is not "grossed out by dating a guy anymore ah? And then Jake learns about it...Which probably led to Jake raped him out of bitterness and jealousy, and from feeling betrayed I guess, not that this justifys his actions. And then now they meet again only for Sean to learn that Kyle is married to Jake's older Sister and not only that but from the latest chapter with the kid I believe Kyle is most likely the father... (Since all that's required is holding hands and they were in a relationship) Also Sean at some point said that he lied to his daughter because he is afraid "they"will take her as well... I think he was talking about the other guy's family (Kyle's) maybe they didn't want him but wanted the baby because it has their blood. You know" rich people not accepting their in law but still care about the grand child" occasion. But again this is all an assumption of mine. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
But again if Kyle was the father he wouldn't hate the kid... Maybe It's Jake's after all and without Jake's knowledge his family took the child from Sean and gave it to the Sister instead pretending to be her's and Kyle's? I am confused (￣∇￣")
I don’t think it’s kyle. He obviously doesn’t want that child. It’s either surrogate or from jake. Jake’s family is rich unlike kyle so their family could pay as much as they can. But it seems not from jake too because that lady said “is this kid is from your family?” She didn’t say is this Jake’s/Kyle’s? Well idk which one is true. Just wait to see them but I don’t think we will get the answer soon as a i checked the raw it doesn’t have much things change.

Also just a speculation of mine but I think it was the purple concubine (forgot her name ) that did this to the other concubine's child while having the empress take the blame... You get it? I also hope that she will be able to reveal the villains and restore her relationship with the emperor. As for this being a harem... Well as a woman of the 21st century it is indeed hard to shallow, however I try to understand it since this is based of Ancient China where things like this were nothing but reality. So yeah I will cut the emperor some slack lol On the other hand I wouldn't mind the author making it so that our female lead has seized his attention. (▰˘◡˘▰)

I liked Juseon better. Honestly even the author fleshed out his character more than others (by showing his past). While we didn't get to see much of Karam and get to bond with his character... He was just there... At first it was ok but after I learned more about Juseon and I noticed his feelings for the MC my heart was completely won by him... But again I know that the MC's feelings were clear from the start... It's just that the author didn't even properly show us Karam... So for me this story left me with a bitter taste in my mouth...But I guess, this shows us how things don't always work out the way we want them to... I just hope ma boi Juseon will find happiness with someone who will love him back as much. ┗( T﹏T )┛
This manhua is one of the few that truly touched my heart and played with my heartstrings! Each chapter had me on the edge of my seat, making me want to run to the next one! From start to finish it was beautiful in my eyes yet if you looked inside it was full of scars and pain along the happy fleeting moments. But this is what life is after all, beautiful yet hard at times but in the end if you endure it, you will find your happy ending! Even if it takes 10 years...This story gave me hope.Finally ,I would like to say that I loved both main characters cause they were so human and realistic in my eyes.
First of all, y'all talking shit about the emperor and the author's ideas... 1. The emperor and empress have different palaces, which means if a servant messenger is not send the other won't know what happend to the latter(especially if the other concubines have plotted against the queen and took her out secretly). 2. Concubines killing the empress or her son (or even each other lol) It's something realistic and 3. The emperor having many women to serve him is also something that powerful men of the time did whether we like it or not. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

neither kyle or jake is the father of sean's children. sean is a surrogate mom and did it for money. he gave birth to two and gave one to the surrogate person and kept one in secret
So what I got Kyle(model) and Jake are both young masters and have a past with Sean. I think they both where his friends in high school and both fell in love with him.
