there's a lot of human suffering featured in this story which can make it feel bleak. Often I can't get through works like this but the two parallel father - son storylines where they're both working towards finding each other is really interesting and had me hooked. Historical action, quite gory but a great read.

This comes very close to a perfect story. The art is gorgeous and powerful. The mc is one of those characters you're just drawn to and be prepared to shed some tears while reading her story. It's got a long journey, strong themes of family and an interesting historical setting.

This story is neatly disguised behind a cute fantasy setting but is really a look into compassion fatigue and depression. A beautiful and tragic story with interesting characters, one of them being an immortal witch.
