I think some hoped for them to stay forever and ever in the island having sex and who cares if Sensei breaks her head trying to deliver a work with some plot in it. Instead, I'm happy with the recent chapter and if Sensei includes the secondary characters back into action it would be the best for me.
I think people wanted them to come out of the shoot out completely unharmed. I don’t mind the way the book is going right now, especially since I know the author wouldn’t end the arc with a tragic or Extremely upsetting Ending. She knows what’s she’s doing. She added LOTS of drama, but I’m telling you a bitch does not mind lmao at all

Exactly. Imagine if she did the same thing after the Hong Kong event. They both went to the tropics to relax so Aki could recover from his trauma... We had tons of sex and then it would have been THE END. We would have missed so much from the following Arc! Aki getting confused about his feelings until finally giving up and moving in with Asami. Asami getting his military life routine disturbed by an eccentric brat (the panel of him taking a bath with a set of rubber ducky will always crack me up). Asami anxiously waiting for Aki's return after his 3 days escape. Them facing the house attack, sticking together and saving each other lives... I mean, man we would have missed the best! I believe it will be the same thing with this new arc. Hang in there people and pray for Sensei to stay healthy so she could keep this series going.

It's not just a desire to watch more sex, it will be suffering for both of them again, and as always, Akihito will suffer physically and emotionally. If Asami suffers then I will shut up, watch and enjoy, I love Asami, but damn it, why does Akihito always suffer ????
But can't you see that Asami is already suffering? For the first time of his damn life he finds himself powerless because of love. He even admitted not being able to protect Akihito out of fear to see him get harmed. He can't take pragmatic and rational decisions for his business anymore. He had to hide Aki away from him for months and it killed him emotionally. He took several shots trying to protect him. So I think at this point, they are both suffering the same way.
Jihyun should have his own side story where he meets someone else and has learned to have a healthy and respectful relationship. Just a thought
It’s weird cuz If the ending was different and chiwoo had completely forgave him for the rape, I would be slightly annoyed thinking “oh great another cliche yaoi blah blah”, because it would be unrealistic, right?
But now..for some reason I actually feel fucking sympathy for the guy. He was unhealthy and abusive. But seeing him cry while driving away did break my heart. And the parallel universe chapter was kind of hard to read because I can’t help but wish that something like that did happen lol

hi! sorry to intrude but the author did acknowledge that he did rape him in the first one! if u look at the author’s note, someone asks “did jihyun and chiwoo do it?” and they do admit they have done it. which, judging by their relationship (where chiwoo is frighten by jihyun, who assaulted him), was not consensual!
No no its okay and that's really confusing cause no where in the manga did it show that he raped him other than being close to doing it that one time but beat him up instead so we see chiwoo passed put from his injuries on the table. As for him being scared well thats given considering how unpredictable jihyun is and how easily he can snap. Also thank you for clarifying the authors intentions because it really wasnt clear in the manga
