I hate this trope sm Like okay, you did it 'for her'... but she still grew up feeling unloved , I love the bromance , I acknowledge what he did to keep her safe but I still can't get over the fact that she's still face her challenges without him ... Like the reason he did it is probably convincing it just that I can't really like how the child feelings from the time he's not there feels invalidated... Like you couldn't hate him properly because all in all he's a kind person and everything he did is for a reason .......Perhaps I'm too sensitive
The author sure did know how to write annoying character that we can't truly hate , the first one is agito's son like BFR me as a normal human being who can't take insults would have beaten that boy... Agito standing there and just let his kid insult people within boundaries that he thought was okay with wth that rude manner ....
Second is the beast folk.... Setsuna is strong fr , he prove that his actions are all innocent until the beast folks can trust him but let's be honest who would have that much patience... I guess that's why he's the main character... I just can't sympathize with their backstory because they annoyed me too much , I deserve to rot in my bed
