The ML didn't tell his family he has a partner and it's a man. The kid wasn't convinced his dad is his dad and was never told to not say the MC is his dad's bf and shouldn't tell other they meet often at his house. The ML once said it's a family problem so MC shouldn't involve himself and never apologized or said otherwise.
Aside from that I'm not a fan of the MC never having a relationship and not knowing about his family at all or if he even has friends.
