Am I the only one whose got no qualms about them being cousins? I mean, theyre both guys and didnt grow up together so its not gonna have any genetic ramifications. Plus theres mangas on here with actual brothers, father/son and I don't see that many complaints on those ones, though since this manga has a more realistic vibe, people feel a bit more iffy about their familial relation?
F E A R
This manga might be approaching unacceptable levels for me...
Manipulation check
Rape hmmmm
Infidelity hmmmm
I hope the seme break things off with his sis before having a relationship with mc. Maybe like "we met when we were both young and ur sister reminded me of u so i dated her but now ive found u i know who i was really pining for"
This manga has a lot of things that bugs me:
-The chief goes from PLANNING to rape and trap an omega by enforcing a bond under influence of heat to a super understanding, caring and gentle alpha in a second for no apparent reason.
-He forgets completely about his feelings for the other omega and becomes infatuated with suzuki dispite saying he was boring just because their body was compatiable and suzuki was cute...? there was absolutely no indication or reason for them to fall for eachother other than "oh why does he make my heart flutter"
-suzuki, dispite how traumatised he was with alphas in the past, just goes alongs with their physical relationship without any resolve? And then lets the seme off easy dispite he basically raped, drugged and lied to him?? Just cus he rescues you from a bigger shithead doesn't make his crimes any less horrible.
I enjoyed the manga and the seme is very nice now but Im still critiqing the manga bc it seems like the author intended to explore deeper inequality topics and relationship dynamics with the setup but didnt follow through or excecute it well; Its not a good portrayal of how a good relationshup works and personal trauma, and their romance is pretty badly developed. I was expecting more.
Big Kill me Heal me vibes if anyones seen that kdrama
That part is similar, but the plot is not at all the same. I mean in kill me heal me, the girl was abused by her father and the boy saw it happening and got DID. In this one the only one who got hurt is the boy, and the black haired helped him. So no, they are not similar in the parts which make up the plot.
We don't have much to go on with this plot but idk about you those flashbacks seem to hint at the DID guy being abused as a kid and meeting the MC. which is extremely like Kill Me Heal Me. It will probably be a little different but man this idea definitely came from somewhere.
God look at the Male lead. Just put some glasses on Cha Do Hyun and he's basically the Male lead here. I'm not saying this is absolute trash or anything just that we can see where it originated from
Guyyys theres no need to argue. DID is a pretty specific theme with reacurring tropes and story beats such as child alters and girl alters doing something shocking which the mc reacts to. plus DID is almost always brought on by trauma so abuse is an easy cause for stories. Obviously this manga is not the exact same as the drama but the author might have been inspired by it or even wanted to retell a similar premise. I just commented cus when rei became a girl and ran i thought of the same scene in kmhm so i thought it was hilarious. Yall opinions are all valid (⌒▽⌒)
Tatara mind your own fucking business you don't know anything about their relationship and stop stressing shige just cus you're resenting him for being loved by shin
