This a fast passed short 22ch story. I had to make a major correction spoiler bellow.
It is initially very fluffy. The ginger does not cheat on his boyfriend (the mc/top). (Ch15) Someone broke into their home and violently assaulted him before dragging him up the stairs to rape him on their bed. Ginger is coerced into acting like he likes it hoping that will make things end quicker before the bf comes home. It doesn’t end, the bf sees this, ginger is further mortified and then watches his boyfriend possibly beat the rapist to death. In shock, he leaves him that night completely traumatised, hating and blaming himself for what happened. He is in a deep mental health crisis where he experiences further abuse (ends ch18). From there the angst continues but it’s about the love and repair from the trauma and they get back together
