Idk how far the manhua is into the novel (because I stopped reading it a while back to read the novel) or where in the novel a certain scene is so ya. I’m bad at explaining things, but I’ll do my best!

What I didn’t like about the was the relationship of YaoYao and her stepbrother Jiang (idk his name I forgot). So when she was fat she had a crush on him everyone knew and made fun of her, as well as him. Then they became family and they weren’t on good terms. YaoYao kept her distance and such. Then when Jiu’s identity was about to be revealed with her birth certificate YaoYao overheard what was happening. Someone was going to ask Jiang for help to reveal it but he refused. YaoYao didn’t know that he refused and begged him to keep Jiu’s secret (but he didn’t know what the secret was since he refused). She said that she will do anything for him to keep quiet. Jiang took advantage of that and blackmailed her, making her to sleep with him. It happened for awhile until things calmed down and they stopped. YaoYao kept her distance and didn’t speak to him for months, even went to a university far away. (You don’t know how happy I was when she moved away) But it turns out that he had feelings for her and offered to be a professor at her school. YaoYao has lingering attachments with him cuz she used to like him, and decided to forget about him. People even wanted to date her. There was one person that I liked for to be with but she said no He got involved with her school life to try to win her over and it works. They end up being a couple. I AM UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED


When Brother Mo was a teenager he was asked to help the NYPD to capture Z because a police can’t do shit and because he studied criminal psychology. After chasing Z with the police for a few days (I think) he caught on that Z was a woman and then later on that it was Jiu. Since he found out he didn’t want to left the police catch her so he didn’t work hard to catch her, and even let her escape sometimes. (Something like that, I don’t remember the details). As you know Jiu only goes after bad guys through illegal means and was going after a person who does hypnosis. No and the police were also going after them and then found out the bad person was Mo’s classmate that he didn’t like. They both were in a class that did hypnosis but Mo left because he didn’t like the teachings. The classmate thought that Mo was looking down on him or whatever and wanted to hypnotize him. He had to find out his weakness and found out that it was Z! To make the hypnosis work he had to hurt Z to make it activate. They had a battlefield and as you know the police can’t do shit and wasn’t really following what was going on and was left behind. Mo found out what the classmate was going to do but was too late. They drowned Z and he was too late to save her. Z died and the hypnosis activated. At that time he hurt his hand really bad, blood everywhere thats when he got his hand injury. That day is when he forgot everything about Jiu and the time they spent together as kids. Doesn’t remember anything at all, that’s why his grandpa is really sad and his family doesn’t let him back in the military or something. Then three years later Jiu got reincarnated!

After reincarnation:
Jiu and brother Mo as well as their teammates go to Japan (I think) for a competition and go to a club. A fight happens Jiu fight and wins (cuz she’s a badass)and that is when Mo remembers who she is. Mo already had his suspicions and such and her fighting moves helped him remember. He doesn’t reveal it right away he tests her and teases her to see her reactions cuz he knows that she is Z. However since he was never cured of the hypnosis he doesn’t know of their childhood together and the promise they mad to each other.
A lot happens and he recovers from the hypnosis and gets together with her.


Idk if the mentioned this yet but Jiu’s first mom was rich. She was a successful businesswoman that was stunning. (We love successful woman) She fell in love with her dad who was handsome but useless. He is very smart since he taught Jiu everything she knows but like he was literally a househusband. Didn’t really make money for the family just watched Jiu at home. Sometimes he would leave her at home to do shady business. Jiu’s mom died and was left with her father and butler and then eventually just her butler. She then eventually left her butler cuz ya know she died. HOWEVER what they didn’t know is that her dad is a Vampire, and a high ranking one at that! So when he “died” I’m guessing he was just sleeping (didn’t explain if he was or not) in the Church. Which was the same church Mo and Jiu got married in. They got married in the US because over there she was old enough. In the wedding she was wearing a long black dress (everyone was saying she looked like a vampire queen) and Mo was cosplaying her favorite character in the game per her request. And it turns out that the bishop (idk just the person who holds the Bible in the wedding) was her Father. He stole the persons clothes and held the wedding, while the actual person went missing.
And the dad loved his wife so much that he found out she was reincarnated and try’s to make her fall in love again with him
