He probably didnt. Its usually a police tactic to get suspects alone to corraborate their stories. Often the police will lie to see if it trips up one or both suspects. I assume this is the case here.
But the police officer said that sangwoo said that bum killes the girl and only her he didnt say anyone else.

Well, the brown haired guy doesn't look like the grey haired guy who attempted to kill Jun, the face is even a different shape, but they ARE hinting that he's the same guy as the old wizened wizard guy.
