Honestly? ... I would.be honest and tell the truth about my pregnancy, but also find a way to END slavery by appealing to the Empress. I WOULD debate on how slavery is wrong and relationships based on power dynamics are wrong... couples should both have equal footing. A slave cannot stop a noble from taking what they want and punishing the children of the guilty is a stain on the empires soul. I would also advocate for equality. I also would use my favor with the Emperor and Empress to see that communication is key for a successful relationship. That honesty helps. Also I would reveal that the Western Kingdom has a way to cure infertility with magic. I would also learn magic and learn to read. I WOULD learn from the Emrpess about taking someone's word at face value. Trust no one but not alienate people either. I also would get custody to my child and I would rally for equality. I feel like rashta didn’t know that the baby in her stomach wasn’t the emperors and from my understanding of the novel navier was able to have a baby because they used magic stones on there first night to strengthen the body.

If you read the novel can you please tell me if what the duke said to the emperor in a note saying that the baby is his and the paternity test was manipulated is true or the duke just wanted to make the emperor go more crazy by staying that?

But as someone who knows the novel and the story, how would you escape and with both your kids? Like... how do you have a safe life without being executed or back to being a slave? That is a tight bind.

So think about it. You get hit by The Reincarnation truck and you're reborn onto the story but as Rasta. You know everything that's going to happen. You know everything that's going on in the story because you read it. Now you are in it, right at chapter one. You are pregnant, a Slave, and you've got an emperor.... and You also have the empress right there. What do you do? What can you do? You know about the magic stones and the bed and was going on with the Western Kingdom and you know everything is going on with the magic being drained from the wizards and on top of all that, you also know what's going to happen to you if you keep going down the same path. You also know you have your kids that's still alive. Oh my God, what a nightmare scenario. If there was the worst place to be reincarnated in, this would be it. This is a wonderful story but oh my gosh being reincarnated as Rasta it's probably the top 10 worst places to be reincarnated into. I would just straight-up panic. I can't see any way out of it safely and happily. You're basically stuck

Yeah, they’ve changed the pacing a bit. The book series has some serious negative review on the original pacing which is probably why, but personally I liked the original just fine.
