This has become such a comfort read for me, I genuinely hope they'll have nothing but good times ahead. They deserve it.
I was putting off reading this before because I wasn't exactly in the best place to encounter a homophobic narrative from Mi-Ok (especially in a piece of work that has so far been very healing for me), and as it turns out, she's much worse. I personally would much rather face outright homophobia than what she's bringing to the table. She empathized about being "different," yet offered nothing but opposition and hostility. Heck, there wasn't even an actual connection between their struggles. + No one was even asking for her approval and support in the first place. It's so infuriating lmao.
The two MCs are way better people than me because I swear I wouldn't have let her go that easily.
I truly feel for those who are rooting for Kiyoto, it makes absolute sense as every character on here deserves happiness since none of them are inherently evil to deserve the opposite.
However, I like and prefer the idea of Touji and Yachiro getting together. As someone who's foolish enough to believe in the concept of soulmates or something close to that, the story began with showing how they were bound for each other and I really truly want that for them. First love end game rarely ever happens in real life, especially one that is as pure as Touji and Yachiro's.
I feel bad for Kiyoto, I feel for him, especially Yachiro's wife. But it was clear that none of them were completely happy, Yachiro especially. With that said, I think that's one of the author's main points in creating this story, as humans, we're bound to break other people's hearts including our own before we find happiness. It happens all the time. Whether one should be held accountable for causing such is subjective and that's because how complex and layered love is.
Apart from that, and how the pairings have become so divisive with the spoiled ending (I don't blame anyone dropping this, I probably would have dropped it too if I learned Touji and Kiyoto was end game.) The art is amazing, the pacing is wonderful too and is such a fresh way of portraying romance. Wish there were more updates.
I appreciate how the manga depicted WangWang, symbolizing people who fetishize same-sex relationships. It was done so well---incredibly fair and balanced.
But when I imagined the person I like rn being this obsessed of me??? I would not give a damn. Heck, give him to me right now.
That escalated waaaay quicker than I thought it would. Even IRL porn has longer build up than this LMAO
Just thinking about the long wait gives me anxiety lmao this is such a comfort read
Y'all could wait for bingsoo cat cafe's translations, I do too since I reread it. But why do you have to push for placeholders just to block the faster updates? There are people who don't mind connecting the dots, the translations aren't even that bad to begin with it. Gosh.
Okay does anyone know when S3 is coming? Hope it's filled with fluff and more fluff, let the drama start on S4 lmao
Because this is definitely not what I expected lmao... i love it though.
and it's still so good, probably my favorite manga I've read on here.
Is there finally some fluff?? I'm more of a fluff reader so I didn't enjoy this as much at first but I really like this art style. Please tell me if there's fluff involved now T__T
