For people who are so obsessed with her and know that a dangerous person who want to kidnap her is on the loose they have some seriously lax security. She is also entirely too defenseless for someone who knows people are after her. Seriously don't like the dad. You could have made it so he avoided his kids because of his illness or something but no. I haven't read that part yet but swing as this is as they're nobles it's most likely to produce heir's, that's usually the cliche in comics and even real life, you make baby and baby grow up with a 50/50 chance to be powerful meaning more power coming into the family.
