I still don’t think it’s right that he got kicked out because the mother died that he didn’t even get to go to his mothers death anniversaries as much as what he did was wrong he shouldn’t have been thrown out when the dad didn’t even know what was happening and it’s been annoying me off this whole time I get Haruki and Hikaru issues with each other but the dad is just being childish to blame a child for his mothers death and not even invite him about things about his mother
Everyone’s talking about how Yūki cheated on Hikaru and how he’s bad and all that but throughout the whole Rules series Hikaru has constantly cheated on Yūki throughout the 6 years they were together and Yūki fell in love for the 3rd time in his life with a student that he felt actually needed him (not saying it was right to cheat) but he made one mistake and when he left it was to help Shiga and then he left and wasn’t with anyone.This is turning into a rant but I felt like this needed to be said.
Actually Hikaru only cheated on Yuki once and it happened when he was drunk and as a result he broke up with Yuki because of it, it was Yuki who begged Hikaru to come back to him despite Hikaru not wanting to because he had hurt Yuki, something he swore he would never do. So the fact that Yuki willingly cheated on Hikaru continuously even after his friend told him to stop. If he was unfulfilled in the relationship then he should have told Hikaru instead of stepping out on his partner of 6 years. This is a trend for Yuki since he almost cheated on Hikaru in college because his club senpai showed a little interest in him. Yuki should have known better than to sleep with his student let alone one that not only suffers from mental illness but amnesia as well. Yuki is wrong on all accounts and despite knowing that he was wrong for cheating on Hikaru, he continued regardless of the consequences because as Hikaru said "Yuki tends to go for guys with pretty faces". I liked Yuki in part one but I grew to hate him in the second half of the series. No matter what you're going through in your relationship nothing justifies cheating and Hikaru should have ended up with someone else and let Yuki burn with jealously and regret his actions.

It's been a while since I've read this story, so forgive my poor memory u_u
The Hikaru cheating thing took place in one of the DJs, I forgot which one, you will probably have to read them all to find it or hopefully someone else can tell you. But basically in the dj Yuki kept trying to contact Hikaru and wanting to make up with him since from the hints we got, Hikaru cheated on Yuki when he was drunk and chose to break up with Yuki in return because of it since he had promised Yuki never to hurt him. But Yuki forgave him because he realized it was an accident and Hikaru was punishing himself for having hurt Yuki. I hope this helps since as I said it's been a while since I read it and I'm currently not in the mood to re-read the chapters on account of Yuki continuously cheating on Hikaru and just made me hate him for it.

Hikaru was drunk and couldn't remember anything.
But if i were yuki i wouldn't forgive him so easily cause when you're drunk you subconsciously do stuff ...i would try to explore the root of his behaviour...and why did he even drink himself to oblivion with someone else. These are not healthy behaviours. But author just wanted to drag his story...i don't understand when she doesn't have anything new except from unnecessary cheating and flings to add to her story ,why does she drag it so far
