INSTANT 5 stars. i loved this SO MUCH. frankly i hope this manhwa becomes a pioneer of more comedic/slice of life stories that are shorter and don’t indulge in multiple-chapter sex scenes, because it’s a BL niche that sorely needs more representation.

i might get hate for this but i gotta say it. but the author ending this on ilic finally enthusiastically consenting to the sex but not by showing their relationship improving in all other aspects is...a choice.
to me, the way that ilic talks about this night, it feels as if it truly is a one-off event. that the next morning, he's going to be like "god, i went insane last night...! and now the duke is so affectionate with me...sigh..." like i truly got no indication that this wasn't just horny brain-incited affection.
i might get crucified but im just sayin. this was kinda an ass ending to a pretty ass manwha overall. i was reeeeally hoping that their relationship would be balanced, that the love would be gradually shown as requited as the playing field evened out. but no. we just have him enthusiastically consent to sex for the first time ever. which, slay, big w there, but it rings hollow for me. he's still in this subservient position to the duke, and in every other chapter, he dislikes the duke and having to be his personal lapdog. what about him suddenly wanting dick now is going to change that? am i supposed to think he's just going to change on a dime and now be super into the duke?
idfk. all i know is this felt good at first (and the art was gorgeous) but it's like junk food: tastes great in the moment, but you look back on it and wonder if you should throw it all up.
