I didn’t really like how, even after the friends hyped the guide up, it really DID just boil down to the MC having the most compatible blood and being able to have sex with the guid without losing his mind. It didn’t have to be MC, there’s nothing about MC as a person the guide values, just the sex and blood. Could have been anyone in MC’s place and story wouldn’t change much.
If this whole thing is revenge from how awfully he treated his ex (calling her a slut just bc he’s closeted) and all the women he used as beards before her… then good for her. It’s what someone so casually misogynistic deserves. So tired of yaoi protags talking like women are the most disgusting thing on earth and getting away with it bc “whelp I’m gay.”
He literally doesn’t give a shit about her until they fuck. Whose fantasy is this? This is smut meant for the the female gaze, but like what woman fantasizes about a man who only begins to treat he even halfway decent after sex?
WHY did they have to pair the seme realizing “maybe I did bad? maybe? Just a little (I’ll still rape, but be nice about it now)” with the uke being like no, I actually want this and will most likely forgive you for literal beatings, rape, humiliation, forced drug use, and confinement VERY soon bc the author said I caught feelings somehow (it makes no logical sense for this character to have done this). SO GROSS. Why do authors ALWAYS absolve the most abusive, toxic, rapist, trash by having the uke be like “I guess I like it now” which means everything from before can just be brushed off and they’ll be happy like it never happened. They ALWAYS do this. It’s so tiring. If the author didn’t intend for the ML to be evil to the core MAYBE they shouldn’t have included violent, brutal rape? You can make toxic MLS without it I PROMISE.
Another one where the fl loves the ml just because, like there is no actual reason for her to love him except “plot”. He’s a misogynist, cheater, wife beater (he literally puts hands on her and causes her to bleed), who only cares about himself and what he wants. He doesn’t grow as a person, doesn’t become better, he just starts to “love” her (really he just wants to own a woman who isn’t fawning over him). Like what is the point of this story? None of the characters are like able, the art it mid, the comedy is tone def, and it treats physical abuse like some childish oops my bad bullying. This is not worth anyone’s time. This might be one of the worst “contact marriage” trope executions I’ve ever read. And with how garbage this trope is in most stories, that says a lot.
Newest chapter appears to be the beginning of a revenge arc. If they don’t fumble it and the revenge includes the ML and ruins him too this could be salvageable.
The “I got injured protecting you so we don’t have to talk about any of the issues or fucked up shit I did before this” trope. It’s such a cheap way to get out of an interpersonal conflict.
Like burn it all down. Would much rather read about a revolutionary than people who accept the shitty system with a “that’s how it is” shrug. No wonder the kid was crying in the beginning, he’s basically been sentenced to being a second class baby maker who will never have a faithful loving spouse. How awful it would be to live here.
Seme deserves someone better. Not only did he string the seme along for YEARS. Uke 100% would have slept with that woman if he could get it up and live a “normal” life. Even if they HAVE to be end game, they needed time apart. Uke admitted to only caring about himself and in the end he didn’t change and still only considered his feelings. I can see someone suspecting their relationship and the uke pulling the exact same shit again because now he knows he can get away with it.
Make the uke a college freshmen and absolutely nothing about the plot changes. The author playing up the young and innocent aspect of the uke only highlights this is an adult lusting after a child.
Where the kid COMPLETELY ruins the teacher’s life and then goes on to live his best self without ever giving the pathetic teacher a second thought. That’s the best ending I can think of for this.
This is simple and cute. Why the low rating? It’s short but it didn’t really need to be more fleshed out and the seme being horny on site for for the uke in the extras was funny.
Here’s to hoping FL enters her villain arc after this and starts plotting revenge against ML. Really need to see her make him regret everything and grovel. That’s the only way this story can be saved.
The sex felt rushed. Like I get ML was there and ready to bang day 1, but it didn’t seem like MC’s feelings had caught up. Like him accepting the offer so soon felt out out of character for him. Especially given his past.
I want the wife to be caught and for her to go to prison. Not bc I care she killed her husband, but because she framed and ruined the life of an innocent young man to do it.
Based on spoilers she ends up with a harem of guys devoted to her, like worshipful type devotion, and not just the crown prince. Pretty sure he’s in the oust with her for a while once she gains some independence. Though I don’t know if he suffers as much as he should for how he treated the captives. And he should suffer. A lot.
Really hope she gets her memories back and then they start feeling each other out not sure who remembers what. Just for some added drama.
Naive gullible uke who can barely tie his own shoes and beyond toxic to actually criminal (rapist) seme. Tale as old as BL time. If this doesn’t have the seme groveling on hands and knees begging for forgiveness by the end, it will be a total cliched waste of time.
