Feels like the author is really saying, yes, Ian, no one cares about the you now. Not even the author. Everyone you think cares for you do not even SEE you. They see Brian and yearn for who you once were and will never see you as your own person. You are valued for you past and no one would have cared about you if you weren’t a reincarnation. Like it’s actually really sad.
It’s been a million years since I last read the story. Genuinely don’t remember a child subplot. Where did she come from?
That the black hair guy is the main ML. Read some spoilers way back and like 88% certain he’s endgame.
I think more so than his own desires, maybe it’s a past life plaguing his mind? Like the original Kane, the one whose name he was made to take as a child. Really hope it doesn’t go all in on the sexual desire plot and still mostly focuses on mystery surrounding the father. Would love a scene where Kane digs up his brother’s corpse to see if he still has a heart. That would be interesting.
“Maybe the real number one hero was the friends we made along the way” aaah ending
Why do the comments seem to have collectively forgotten the seme 100% used coercion to force the uke to sleep with him by threat of voiding the contract. Using his position of power over the uke to put him in a corner where he essentially had no choice but to agree (this is still classified as rape, not all rape is through physical violence) to sex with the seme. Did the author forget what they wrote? Did they want more sex in the fic so badly they brought up the “sleep with with me or you lose your job” aspect, then completely ignored their own writing once the sex actually started? The hell was this “I don’t want to owe you more than I already do” like it’s such a gross phrase coming from the victim to their perpetrator in this situation.
Was hoping we would delve more into the ML’s life and his whole situation and mental instability. This whole random jealous friend 3rd wheeling who came out of nowhere is kind of boring and extremely cliche.
When talk no jutsu fails. Also imo sukuna has become the most boring villain, this was a perfect opportunity to let him show ANY other character trait other than “me strong, me kill”. He has no depth and isn’t even written in a fun or entertaining way to make up for it anymore. Even when we 100% knew he was going to win a fight, it used to at least be fun to watch. This final fight is boring and did gege forget about Hikari? Probably.
That escalated quickly.
Them having sex 10 seconds into meeting really made me lose interest though.
So green hair really just got away with everything scott free? Dude bullied and mollested MC and was barely better than the 2nd ML, but had 0 repercussions? MC and green hair should NOT have hooked up again so soon. What a disappointment.
So that conversation referenced in this chapter was off screen? Why was that just a small flashback?THAT should have been the end of season 1. What a waste.
Did everyone just forget the ML is a POS who used his position of authority to coarse the MC into sleeping with him for the sake of his job? That the entire basis of this relationship is nonconsensual. That he completely ignored MC’s discomfort and just did whatever he wanted during sex until eventually the MC just got used to it? Like every time I see comments hyping up the ML I’m honestly baffled.
Do not trust the ML. He has a history as a playboy and a cheater. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is some convoluted revenge plot. Hope ML suffers regardless. Hate it when cheaters in a story have an easy life and a handed to them happy ending.
I love this author’s other works and the MC’s in those were never weak, even if they weren’t physically the strongest they held their own. I’m gonna keep reading and hope Jing comes out on top and the ML is on hands and knees beginning for a forgiveness that may never come.
Making the cop MC so dumb the readers question how they even became a cop? Do some authors just not know how to write intelligent ukes?
The way ML tanked all those hits without even a flinch or bruise? Yeah he’s definitely a monster of some kind. It’s got to be more than just controlling or understanding the zombies.
