I think his father is some sort of high ranking politician (but I kinda doubt it since he's in the overseas) or some sort of researcher or celeb? from the flashbacks where he was interviewed about his studies. Though perhaps he's also a big time since his mother keep on saying that she divorced with his father to avoid violence. But realllyyy I am anticipating what kind of person his father is.
