So....I wasn't the only one who had a conniption fit--but in a good way--while reading this chapter. Lmaooo At the end, Creator said "Sorry for the wait.", but technically we'll still have to wait for next week bc nothing happened. We got kissing, but I wanted to see some licking and sticking. Siiiiighs. Can't be greedy. Must wait.

I canNOT believe this!!! I actually love these two. The disgruntled TM and the disabled apprentice who wants to make a difference. He's just the one who could make the TM see that while humanity is a shit show, there are also some good and pure aspects, even if they are a little dysfunctional.
And this plot twist...I was genuinely surprised just like you all. I love when we read something as long as this series, that can still give us plot twists and surprises even at it being the third season. This story is AMAZING!!!! I'm so in love with it!!

I have a couple questions about Shin. Why was he seeing another version of himself? Like an evil version that was talking to him. This was in the second season and I don't remember the chapter but I can look for it if you need me to. Also, was Shin addicted to drugs too during this time?
If you are willing to help me with this, I can go back and find what chapters I'm talking about if you need me to clarify. Thank you!!!

Pretty sure you could reread the entire season 2 if you are curious. I do remember seeing the other version of Shin in season 2. I remember Shin was having an internal struggle with himself (like he felt conflicted about what he was doing) aside from the drugs/whatever poison it was. Sorry for not explaining well cause I just finished my school semester so my sleep schedule is wacked and dont have much brain power rn.

So shin's whole thing is that he was in a helpless position as a kid and had to suffer a lot bc of the horrible king, but when he found our boy wolfy, he found a way to escape all that and create the world he actually wants to live in. So basically, his motive was really to use Wolfgang to gain power since he knew he himself couldn't be king. Of course, he fell in love and has a strong sense of responsibility, so these motives overwhelmed him with guilt and the evil version of himself was an hallucination that manifested as a result of this guilt and suppressed thoughts/emotions while he was on drugs. And yes, he was addicted for a while there.

I get the frustration with Gren, but some of y'all are going off on him without taking into consideration that you don't even know what he's gone through and seen since being separated from Shin. We know a little about both their past together and how they had to grow up, and some about what Shin has probably been doing before he got a legit job at the shop.
But remember, Gren is younger and might not have had many chances, if any at all, to do things properly as far as having a legit job and a place to stay, food, etc. He probably fell into the wrong crowd and then got with the mercifuls, got hooked on drugs, etc.
He's messed up mentally y'all. Stop sitting on y'all's high horses, acting like some of y'all wouldn't be f-ed up in this situation if you grew up like they did. Shin turned out okay. Gren didn't. It goes like that sometimes. Some of y'all are f-ed up mentally right now too (I am. I have bipolar depression, lupus, stage 4 CKD. So sometimes I struggle mentally AND physically at times), and sitting g here judging a character who very well had a hard life.
I know we want Shin to stay on a positive path and can't wait for him and Jake to get together. What he probably is and should do, is cutting Gren off and hoping he stays in Rehab and comes to his senses. Having family members like Gren (and I know some of y'all have them too, don't even lie), tough love is the only way. Cutting them off is the only way sometimes, hoping and praying they can get clean and stay clean. Bashing them does shit all for them. I've learned this after 38 years of living.
And if Author-nim does it right, Shin might do the same. It's up to Gren to get himself clean and ask for forgiveness for what he's done in the past before he gets himself killed. Believe me, I've had plenty of moments where I have wished a character(s) death(s). Actually, I posted a seething comment the other day about a character but they deserved it. Gren....he's frustrating, but his character and life is deep and psychologically damaged. Shin is too, but it looks like he didn't go down a hellhole like Gren...luckily.
My point is....just chill with the Gren bashing and death wishes. Hopefully, he'll have a Redemption arc. If not, he might get himself killed and Shin and Jake can get hurt in the process. But if he does get killed, it might affect Shin. That's his "little brother" after all who's been making and is making bad decisions. Do we really want Shin to go through having to bury the only "family", whether blood or not? I don't.

It wont affect Shin not like the way you think of. If shin really does care about his past and not just move on from the shitty childhood he had do you think he wont find gren in the 1st opportunity he has? The argument of 'but he is a child and prolly got mixed up with wrong crowd' is getting old. 8f Shin was able to get out what valid reason gren has not to himself? The very first time gren thinks of consuming the drugs its game over, in a real world where drugs and mafia are involve what do you think is easier? Its the same here, Jake gave him chances coz he knew deep down Shin will be sad but no. This brat decided that he will go back, gaslight his 'family' and have them all killed. YeY!! No. We are shitting on gren coz we dont understand him, we shitting on him coz he a shit shit.

You talking to people who think mental health is just depression I've tried making post but they are delusional here. Also a lot of these readers aren't even in their 20s yet so be rational isn't cool. They don't like to look a nonfiction through a fictional lens. That is why I'm about to stay out of the comments for this story because it's the comments and some the stans that are souring the story for me. I will give up a story because the crowd supporting it can be trash. In my opinion It's great story meant for people who actually understand and analyze it not using yaoi criteria logic . I still find it crazy nobody is wishing death on Ross but on a drug addict who had a rough life. This story is above their synapses and it shows

This has nothing to do with pathetic or being a leech I've read enough stories on here, been in dozens of heated conversations about how delusional they are over certain things. On here they get mad if the uke doesn't move the way they want, they get mad if a friend is concern and does something out of concern, they get mad when a character is literally on drugs while not knowing the true effects of drugs. Like I said the kids on here DO NOT like applying logical to nonfictions stories. They will say " your being too serious" or "it's just a story" when trying to defend their twisted logic. You will find those who do agree with you when shit posting on a character lol mean girl energy is attractive. But go and read some more gritty stories and see who they defend and who they don't. Watch how they blame the person who is doing some damage or the least amount of damage. This story can't compare to KS, POTN, Back To School etc. I'm just saying these comments are fcking gross and half of them don't even truly understand why their comments are gross and since I'm feeling more young energy on Mangago I know they don't care. Mental health issues and drug addiction are on the opposite spectrum. Mental health is something you can handle with therapy, medication, etc. Drug addiction isn't so easy to deal with and get a handle on methadone only does so much, most rehab programs suck unless you have money, they have to want to go rehab which to them isn't an easy thing to do, once they get out the state only does so much for them. America isn't setup like the rest of the world with united healthcare. But anyway I'll always think people who rather blame someone because of their past is gross. And Gren hasn't been a leech not once he maybe pathetic but I don't see the leech part he was getting his money how he knew how, taking care of himself how he knows how to, etc that doesn't seem like being a leech to me. Like the OP said shin was lucky but of course he would be because he is the main lead . I wonder if shin was like Gren would the energy still be the same fck NO . Sorry for the long comment
I don't know why, but this chapter was hilariously adorable. I chuckled the whole time. Maybe it's just me, but Beom and Taeju meeting but not knowing that their SOs are brothers...it reminds me of The Parent Trap (I prefer the original with Haley Mills, sorry, not sorry). Except, we're not gonna get any switcheroo action going on. Could y'all imagine tho? Scratch that. Nevermind. I don't want that. Lol. Beom and Taeju deserve to be with their respective beefy (jealous, emotional, hilariously immature,) goofballs, with a strange knack for sex-aggression.
