Honestly its time for them to age up, and has been for a while.
Every other isekai im reading, that started around the same time, has aged up at least to 15 (im a daughter of this house, who made me a princess, abandoned empress, even the monster duchess and its not even Isekai). The chapters are nothing more than filler at this point, where everyone who meets her gushes over her.
At the same time, i get it: the author is trying to get rid of any possible enemies during her childhood and expose them and rid them of their power, while establishing her family more in society and making them more money.
But, thats only doing the latter successfully? She's no closer to figuring out who her true enemies are and how to save her family. Since she's gathered enough support and enough means to ensure her family wont meet their ruin, she should age up to at least 14 or something, closer to when her family will meet their ruin and close enough for her to actually DO something about it and not be weirdly fawned over the entire time.
I see some people on the comments expecting Aria to become a saint, expecting her to have a change of heart, this, that, and the third. But, the fact remains that she doesnt want to become a "better" person—she wants revenge, and rightfully so. Mielle sucks and deserves to die, especially since she killed Aria in her past life, as well as her mother. Her family sucks because they let it happen and probably even covered up Mielle's shit. Aria was never a good person, and she realized that—even in her last moments, she realized that. And then Mielle turned around and threw it in her face right before she got beheaded, OF COURSE SHE WANTS REVENGE.
The person below me explains it in a much more eloquent way, but everyone expecting her to have a change of heart is being willfully naive. This isnt one of those "im a good girl stuck in a vilainess body" stories, and its not one of those "i was wicked in my past life so lets be saintly in this one" stories, and it never will be. In those stories, the villainess is usually the only one in the wrong and her fate depends on her actions alone, which is why she can avoid death—no one is planning her ruin at every turn. A good example of this is Doctor Elise. But the thing is, even if Aria became saintly, Mielle would still plan her downfall and then where would she be? Dead.
It's her vs. Mielle to the bitter end, Mielle made sure of that from the very beginning, as a cruel and manipulative child. Somebody is going to die, and it damn sure has to be Mielle and everybody who helped her along the way, especially that maid.
I love that Aria is a true villainess, and i hope she gets her revenge. Don't agrue with me about how she should have some "character development", while ignoring the fact that her character is constantly devloping and doing so to ensure HER survival.
I said what i said, and I meant it.
...really want to see this as a kdrama, lmfao
I think Kim woo bin would suit playing ML!!
