i just want to say that, when it comes to manga and webtoons, Who Made Me. A Princess changed the game. I've been reading shoujo on this site since like 2009-2010, and WMMAP really changed how historical shoujo was written and started an isekai race between authors. It gave more attention to novels, and more people had their novels turned to webtoons. It gave us the original Claude and Athy, which has been copied in tons of webtooms thus far.
Where would isekai be without WMMAP?
Anyway, just food for thought. I really want this to be made into qan anime, imagine the effects .

There is no possible way that you've been reading this manga since the beginning, and reading the spoilers, and you STILL are bitching about Ruve. Imagine continuing reading and complaining every chapter instead of dropping it. Imagine being that petty lmao.
Im much too lazy to write a whole essay, so i'll just copy and past something already wrote:
I LIKE the Prince, and a lot of you would too if you actually considered the fact that because of the alternate timelines and the subsequent alternate reality, he is NOT THE SAME PERSON as the cruel version of himself and never will be. That, and the fact that her other options are inadequate and the author knows that.
Allendis is a creep, and that's a fact. He's been creepy and manipulative from the very moment he's met Tia, and I don't do yandere second male leads (they tend to try to kill everybody, FL included—don't act like, if it came down to it, he wouldn't try to kill Tia's father if he got in the way). He creepy, manipulative, and obsessive to the point of ridiculousness.
And Carsein, though i love the fiery red head, is too immature. The author placed him there to lessen her dependency on Allendis, and I enjoy that. Because he is so immature, she couldn't help but see him in a brotherly way. And while he matures as he ages, he is still way less mature than every other character his age in this manga. They simply were never meant to be anything more than friends with a close sibling relationship.
I like the prince. I like his character design, i like that he has experienced some growth and got to be more open about his emotions (slowly but surely) and, more importantly, he's the only reasonable option out of the two extra male leads that the author created.
Now, if there was another character who was better than all three of them, I would be down: say, a cool and level headed type character, who was interested in her but not in a yandere way, and had the power to upsurp the throne (like a second prince) then I would be down. But, that won't be happening and, out of all the options the author has presented us, I LIKE the prince

I agree that Allendis needs a LOT of psychological therapy, if there was hope that such a thing exists in this world. He was fucked up from being scorned by his own father and if he DID end up with Tia, then it requires a long time gap for him to change himself. Carsein? He was the one Tia was the most comfortable with, though I agree with him being more childish compared to the other MLs. But if you considered the possible options for her to be an actual “Pioneer,” Carsein’s the better option. Who’s going to call the Empress “Marchioness?” It’s their two daughters who are going to carry the Monique name while the only son (I think one of the younger children) is going to be the Emperor, the most powerful position.
I don’t care about character designs when it comes to choosing love interests, but I like how he’s slowly opening up like Tia. However, if you look at it in a survivor’s perspective, that’s not going to change anything. Sure, I can understand he was poisoned, but Tia already dealt the brunt of the manipulated Ruve’s actions. Try telling someone who was bullied, raped, or abused to get over it because the assailant is “not that bad of a person.”
Also, this is the first time I commented? lmao. I read the first and second half of the webcomic, up until Jieun reincarnated again, and I’m reading the comments to check if it diverted some parts of the story like how Who Made Me A Princess did.

Though I really hate that old ruve but I don't really relate him to the present tube because he hasn't done anything yet. And imagine being in his place a girl suddenly acts as if you are the worst being in the world for no reason whatsoever is not okay. When you haven't even harm them though not saying tha she should be fine it's a trauma for her. I'm saying let's just understand every character and enjoy the story(⌒▽⌒)
First, it is not an alternate timeline. Time was forced back, and not even for Tia's sake but for Ji-eun's sake. It is the very reason why he hated her before the lies and before the drugs, as seen in the start of the second timeline and how he would have acted on it on their first dance if she didn't change. He was going to turn into an awfull man by is own prejudice and the victim had to change for him for finally start to realize just how awfull he is acting. Even more negatives points. Now, about the reasons I am not a fan at all of this ship:
- Obviously, the PTSD. The way she magically overcame it enough to start pinning for him is unforgivable.
- He only started to act "sweet" (read decently) when he started to want her after all. At least, readers have been given no reason to think overwise.
- He get everything easily. He learn about the first timeline by reading a personnal letter for exemple and, mind you, even talked about it to his retainer. He didn't have to win her trust for it. She is forced to stay close to him because they are engaged. She is the one who has to prove herself time and time again that she is suited for him and the task and so on. She is somehow already in love with him and only not acting on it because hs eis sure he is fated to be with Ji-eun anyway without him having to do nothing whatsoever.
- He only like the emotional part of her.
- The lack of basis for Tia's feelings. In the first timeline it was attraction (they didn't knew each other, they shared a meal berely three times and so on). Then, after everything he did to her, her feelings in the second timeline are based on the fact that she is still in love with him anyway. They are fated? So what about her pionner name that literally mean she is free of it? Was it a lie after all? She swore on her execution to never love him again if she was given another chance. And after barely five meetings she is already turning back on her words despite the brutal abuse she endured. Are you expecting me to say that it is an "healthy" relationship after that?
- Not only does the reasoning for his actions in the first timeline don't matter here because Tia don't know them (and she will only know after agreeing to marry him again), they are not good enough. The lies only worked because he already hated her. The poison conveniently targeted her only? No way. He was avoiding her like the pest most of the time. She couldn't possibly have controled his temper and paranoia all the time by redirecting it all to herself. He should have lashed out as badly to others, even more so after her death. He did not because he was clearly still in controle as seen in his POV where is he able to stay rational, controle his temper against Ji-eun until she purposely annoy him very much and so on.
- He is not pro-active. At all. After sending her into a catanic state he didn't bother checking up on her at least once by letter? That is a negative point. You can't say he left her alone because he was shy and worried because his future actions planely show that he is not. He neglected her the same way he did in the first timeline. Period. And he would have done the same if she didn't suddenly suit his taste.
- He lied about respecting her agency and that he would break off the engagement if she asked. Spoiler alert, he didn't. Twice.
- He knows hat she is afraid of him and of touch but will forcefully hug her when he want to and forcefully kiss her after flying into a rage... Sure, what a sweet and understanding boy, right?
- He admitted himself in the novel having a "violent temper", and I directly quoted him.
- His POV (second timeline during their new married like) is super off putting. He only talk about how he is horny all the time and how Tia is sweet. And a little bit of how she is clever. Not only Carsein POV was way more interesting but it clearly showed that Carsein understood who Tia is way better.
I might have forgotten a few things...
omg yes someone finally said it ╥﹏╥ i hate reading comment section of this manhwa bcause of how they talk bad bout the prince. If you really read from the start till latest update, actually the prince its not a bad person, he genuinely love Tia . I like Ruve , he is the only suitable candidate for Tia. green boy is a no-no since the day he first meet with Tia. Carseint is good as a brother for Tia, no more than that.

I never understood the drugs thing, can you really keep some one under drugs and have no one notice? Or keep them under control doing exactly what you want them to? Even in real history these royals dont last long for what ever reason and I still dont get Jieun s motivation or why she's back in time
My theory is that she wants FL to be happy this time and by doing so, she has to act like an antagonist. But then again, I feel like Jieun hated her in the past too, seeing how she felt disgusted at the fact FL had ML's baby. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

The poison for an unknown reason only affects his mind when it comes to treating Tia but he was completely fine in dealing with other stuff. If the poison is actually affecting his mind, the kingdom would have collapsed or be ruined before Tia but nope, it only works when he saw Tia. It's hilarious when they were taught to avoid drinking poison using specific tea sets and utensils from very young. Even more hilarious is that after Tia's death, he is still getting poisoned regularly but for some reason, he is now able to think rationally and able to control his rage under the poison influence. It makes you wonder if is he even consuming the same poison or the poison has the special effect of "hate Tia only".
What on earth is it with shounen readers that ALWAYS hate on the love interest? I like the blonde girl—she's barely in any scenes, anyway, and she's not even annoying. And YES, she's his girlfriend. Just say you hate girl characters and go.

But, ofc, what is this drama without a love triangle? An aiji replacement comes soon after, but i actually like the new guy.
Anyway, if he comes back, i hope he seriously apologizes to the mc and she finally gets over that.
