Reading this excited for some nice romance but all I get is some petty asshole seme/ML who can’t get past the fact that he got rejected in high school and tries to ruin the MC’s work life. And I even hear the MC gets drunk raped later on what in the fuck??

I really don’t like the pacing. It feels awkward at times and I feel like the author just does not care for Chris at all for some reason?

And it feels strange to me how the MC likes the ML? Like he keeps going on and on about how dangerous he is, and why he doesn’t trust him. Hell, the ML fucking attacks his friend Chris as well.

Im not saying they have to love each other, or that the story needs them to have a healthy relationship or whatever. Im just saying it makes no fuckin sense as to why the MC likes the ML despite him having no reason to aside from attraction to his looks. Hell just a couple chapters before chapter 40 where the MC confesses he was just saying how he doesnt have any feelings towards the ML.
