yeahhh agreed with what people r saying. maybe its different in the novel but the rape in this story was unnecessary now that we’re nearing the end. it seems to serve no purpose really, since yugeon is attached to all the espers which makes him look delusional and stockholmed than a caring person that the story is trying to tell us he is. Which isn’t to say that he isn’t a caring guy, but it’s just like overlooking all the rape and disgusting shit he’s been thru.
u expect me to feel bad for any of the espers in this story? ymake me forget about all the times they violated Yugeon and now the story is pretending it never happened.
i love this story and will read it to the end, but im trying really hard to forget what it put mc thru. and now it feels like it didn’t play any purpose
There's no doubt that this story is amazing and I would definitely reread this again but the grape scenes were just too excessive. Others can argue that it was part of the plot and character building but at least it shouldn't be forgotten because right now, it serves as the major plot hole for the story.
The artistry is amazing, especially the battle scenes. Don't get me started with how the artist convey deep emotions through illustrations. The emotions were not just drawn but made felt. I just hope that for the next few chapters before the ending, the traumas can be brought up
wait what r the ages. idk i didnt think about it much until everyone talked about it in the comments. the story is really interesting tho for what it’s worth
im reading the novel alongside (i think its translated up to chp 80 sth??) and it really is innocent and good! very alike to “debut or die” but less harsh of a system haha.
