Surviving As A Maid
Ok so boom. It's bad.
{SPOILERS LIE BELOW}
I stuck around for 146 chs as of December 2024's recent upload. The plot began pretty interesting because it takes on a whole new perspective on the isekai bit that's been prevalent in recent year - reincarnated into the body of a golden spoon type beat. The FL is a maid the entire time and is not particularly special besides being a "foreign soul" (as stated by the magician) in their "natural" world. Sometimes I completely forgot about the "everyone's gay" rundown -btw the summary was not like that when it was first uploaded, crazy, but I digress. Only two characters show genuine interest in the (also gay) consort - the king and the knight. Both have no particular bearing on the story whatsoever. The knight behaves more like a brother than a love interest despite being a part of the reverse harem. He just has a vague sense of responsibility because she is the nanny. Also, the (gay) consort rap*d the queen so the king could have a baby that looked like the consort. Gross. An odd use of free will and artistic liberty. That's just me tho. Overall: BORING and gross plot twist.
The Abandoned Empress
Skipped the last 10 chs. I guess it was good, but I had hoped that she wouldn't become the empress and would succeed her family. The thing I hate about these stories is that there is typically a better side ML than the main ML, but most of the time they can't help but be boo boo the fool cuz they "loved" the person in a past life. It's a real shame too. I loved Carsein as a love interest.
