I get the frustration but honestly communication isn't that easy whether it be fictional or reality, especially if you started off on a rough and rocky road and don't really know how to communicate properly in the first place. Even if you do know, the moment, the situation and other elements can clash together during communicating with someone and can get you to say things that shouldn't be said or it's not in the right order of how you want to say it. Communication is a two-way street too.
I personally love how the story depicts a realistic scenario of miscommunication and misunderstanding. It just shows how much these two value each other tremendously.
Do you guys have any recommendations for reading light novel sites? It'd be great if the sites also caters yaoi/bl/shounen ai content too

It's a story about this MC who has to rank up in order to not be in the lowest rank bcs it means they'll be the guinea pigs to test monsters, and MC met the male lead when the highest ranks decided to visit the test area and that's where they met, I think he tried to steal a pass from the male lead Im not so sure (my shitty memory help dhiajs ; ; ) and the higher ranks stayed and watched the test, Mc goes through the test but he has a buff bcs he knows about the monsters so he somehow survived but the mad scientists fucked it up by summoning another monster that's not part of the test and that's where male lead comes in and destroyed the monster. MC proceeded with his plan to escape and somehow he ended up being locked in the male lead's room bcs male lead saw him through the cctv that he was trying to escape I hope someone out there knows plssssa T﹏T

Its the part one and the "The Promise" was the continuation of Fu Ao going underground for his mission, thats all I can say since this two books are not connected when you search the author's name here and many people get confuse when they read "The Promise" first.

Rather than having a crush on her, I think he just found someone who can consider as a genuine friend.
And that he just has high awareness in sensing emotions/feelings which why he figured that the girl likes his brother. (and the other first scene where he was making n estimation of "two weeks" with his friend and their gf)
The reason why he's mad was bcs the brother was just using the girl to retaliate against him. Bcs the girl likes his brother genuinely but the brother doesn't and just used her love for advantage :(
