Disappointed with how the story is going. it's just a load of miscommunication one after another. Gonna have to ghost out on this one until it ends. The story wasn't bad but the whole "cat and mouse" game of ignoring each other, getting mad the other isn't approaching you, vice versa is so damn cliche. I get miscommunication is a strong story plot for many webtoons but when it just drags on and on and on, it's just hard to read without getting pissed off each chapter. Honestly this whole miscommunication could have ended if jinha just been like "it's him". I mean it's like 2 words. How hard can that be? And boy doesn't even have to say it, HE CAN TEXT IT to Siwon. And Siwon pissing me off with his bratty ass fucking attitude. I had so much expectation for this webtoon. I was like "this the one. This the one to make me cry and fall in love with it over and over again" but then the more I read it, the more generic it became. So I'm hoping a 6 months break will help the story develop out of the cliche miscommunication/black mail story plot. Or at least not rely heavily on it. I'm still rooting for them to end up together but at this rate, I'm gonna rip my skin off my face.
Does anyone know if the Black hair dude is gonna get his own story with the Bartender? (excluding their short story in the other webtoon)
I'M SO FRUSTRATED AT THE CONSTANT SECRET KEEPING, HOLY SHIT. Maybe cuz I'm not in their shoes. But if a coworker confessed to me, I would tell my partner like "dude, so-so confessed to me". OR if I accidentally outed myself to Ian, I would go to my partner and be like "I was stupid and thought Ian knew my secret. So now he knows I'm into S&M and he's disgusted by it." IT'S NOT HARD TO TELL YOUR PARTNER WHAT'S GOING ON. Could avoid so many miscommunication and unnecessary drama.
that's the point.... no story if you do that but this webtoon is actually a lot better than lots of others on the communication problem. they solve it right away while in other webtoons or manga/manwha it takes years! like freaken 10-15 yrs so this is actually pretty good
Yeah, I get that it's for the plot. I still love the characters. But I just hope this doesn't turn into one of those webtoons that repeats this same cycle over and over, dragging it on. But yes, thank goodness the authors have the issue solve quickly.
For some reason Captain is starting to grow on me. He realized his mistake and was able to own up to it even though he's such a prideful person. I don't think he's that bad, he's kind of cute.
He's growing on me too. Still don't really like him though haha

A very twisted way of testing someone's feelings. And if you need to do that then maybe you should re-evaluate the relationship, not take such drastic measures.
By the way, as Kyouya knew nothing of this "plan" he could have easily taken the fact that he got engage as a sign that they broke up.
A normal person would take a promise to marriage for what it is. A very serious thing, so they wouldn't expect their partner to use it "for testing".

Well, you really couldn't blame him for taking such drastic measures especially since they've been together four years and Homura hasn't done anything to guarantee his love for him. He just seemed so wishyy washy with his love for him. I think Touji was desperate and impulsive, especially after seeing Homura with the guy who was in love with him.
Also, to be fair, Touji wanted to talk to him after the engagement, who knows, he might've explained his plan to Homura, but again, Homura avoided it.

Did he sleep with someone else behind his lover's back? Yes. Did they end their relationship? No. Hearin that your s/o is with someone else, true or not, and choosin to sleep with someone else, is cheating. Even if your s/o did cheat, if you don't end the relationship, or even speak to them, and sleep wit someone else, it's cheating.
If Touji wanted to talk with him he could have easily done that. So no don't excuse him on that accord. He never wanted Homura to know about it and so he got unwanted/unforeseen consequences. Yes, Homura was never all that in in their relationship (I wouldn't call it wishy washy because it's different). But you also need to understand their context and circumstances. Both of them are heirs to the Yakuza. Born and raised in Japan. To Homura it was a doomed relationship and a marriage was bound to happen just not with each other. With a woman as expected of them. So if he regards marriage as the ending of their relationship then him finding out about the engagement was only natural giving his personality that he thought they were over. Touji knowing well how Homura is should have told him in advance.
