I think that Bum asked to borrow money to buy Sangwoo a gift/ get him something, at the beginning of chapter 58 they were talking about the why people wore their wedding rings on the ring finger so my guess is a ring set to symbolize how they will be together forever. I think because that Bitch showed up that Sangwoo is going to misunderstand and before Bum can explain something bad is going to happen.
