I would personally hate it more if he was pursuing her knowing she genuinely did not like him. It takes away her agency and makes it seem that if any guy tries hard enough for long enough he can win over any girl regardless of what she wants. This one is much cuter. I just wish they didnt make an adult woman act like a child/pet.

Also she isnt running away because of her denial of her feelings, but because in the book he and is family are total psychos, and she doesnt know when he will flip his switch and go crazy.

No true idk it’s just like a lose lose situation. I liked the beginning of the story but then it was getting repetitive with her constantly losing. I think it bothers me more too because he doesn’t show as much reaction to her plans. Like when she wanted the report on him I would’ve wanted him to like it and not just be like “ok”. Also I feel like their relationship is more lust than love rn. Like she’s just kinda going with the flow of it and getting caught up in the mood but doesn’t even know she might like him. I want more romance between them iykwim.

Ahhh wait yeah I completely agree, it definitely is getting repetitive and is much more lust over love the more I think about it. Now that you mention it I keep waiting for the plot to advance each time I read a chapter, for her to start doing something impactful, or for them to have a meaningful conversation with romantic chemistry but it just ends up being the exact same thing each time. Except her efforts are getting more and more useless/nonsensical. I hope we can see some romance soon and growth from the characters(specifically the FL, I want to a personality more than the happy puppy like trope). Also the chapter with the report would have been 10x better if he was really into it and liked the idea of her wanting to know about him. I think I get what you mean now with your first comment. I would love if her efforts were making him fall for her more on accident, rather than him just seeing through her plans and just trying to stop her from leaving.
