actually tho, i dont think it was a manipulation tactic or anything like that *on purpose*. we know andrew is a lil socially awkward and not really good with feelings so this might be him thinking that someone finally cares about him and as much as he wants to protect luke, he probably wants luke to protect him aswell, idk it is weird but I dont think he knows that this isnt something he should do, ya know

yeah idk its hard for me to say what I want to say in english fksgdkjd but as you said hes not blind to his own manipulation but I really dont think its malicious, more desparate? desparate to make luke feel sad for him or take care of him and stuff like that, i genuenly think he foes like him and maybe this is the first time hes trying to keep someone in his life so he doesnt know what to exactly do and how far he can go? maybe it like, when you're a kid and you get hurt you know your parents will (hopefully) help you because they love you, so maybe thats what hes doing?

honestly, they're relationship develops but there's so much miscommunication between them that it's almost like annoying to read. I'd say save your time !! although, the second couple is actually enjoyable.
