Idk man, I support women's rights and women's wrongs

Ok, ok, to expand on that, I find it difficult to dislike her. We, as the readers, are familiar with romance manga tropes and shoujo manga tropes, so our FL isn't really that strange to us. Fls are usually pretty naive in shoujo manga, even if it's not actually their character trait and just a plot device.

That's not the case here however, our protagonist is an extremely naive (even for a noble) shut off girl and the story constantly acknowledges it. And now, she finds herself in a place, where people can only survive by scheming and plotting.

Imagine this: You've spent most of your life in what is basically a brothel. Here, you are not a person, you are a merchandise. Everyday there are men coming and going trying to own you and your only choice is to stay valuable enough that no one can afford you. Your beauty comes with a time limit and with it does the power that gives you your freedom.

In the middle of this, a noble naive girl comes in, that (as far as you know) has been living in paradise all her life. She's effortlessly beautiful, yet she's surrounded by men who'd respect her no, and protect her anyway. She comes to you and asks you, to sell yourself, so that she can go back to her nice life as a noble. You make your living entertaining men, who'd buy your body if they could and have to listen to her demurely talking about her first love. And she wants you, to stick out her neck for her?

!!!HER, ASKING SATOKO TO HAVE SEX ISN'T WRONG OF HER, because Satoko basically told her the same thing. Satoko asked her to let herself be bought out (be forced to have sex) without thinking through what it'd imply, which makes sense, because this simply isn't Satoko's world. Satoko is kindhearted, but she's still a noble. Kissing the man she wants to marry is outrageous, but asking another woman to sell herself is not.

HORSES. SO MANY SHITTY HORSES OH MY GOD. Lots of 3d programs have an automatic line art option, so I'm not sure why artists don't use that instead. It's especially jarring when it's one of those models every manhwa uses, or when it doesn't make sense with the places characterization... One thing I dislike more than 3D though is the obnoxious copy ......

I don't really understand the criticism to be honest. It's one thing, even in a middle of a tame wholesome romance a ml starts being abusive for no reason, or when a story about BDSM doesn't understand the rules of BDSM, but this doesn't claim to be any of that. I think it's like picking up a revenge manga and complaining, that the mc didn't go to the police haha.

After rereading it, it seems apparent, that the dynamic is "a tame, but secretly masochistic guy meets violent (but not sadistic), but secretly lovey-dovey guy" (sidenote: if there's any doubt about whether or not the mc is an actual masochist or slowly became one, reread the first chapter. The introduction explicitly states, that he started to seek the violence out). It's a story about how these characters develop and yeah, if he were real, he'd be an abusive ass in the first series, but he's not. You're not going to get interesting stories, if you demand moral purity out of all the main characters.

I really like that we get to see them grow together as people and the story wouldn't be nearly as good without the violent start. I also like how despite the wild premise, the story feels very grounded in it's world. Our main characters have worries outside of their romance. They're all adults and they feel like it!

To sum up:
S1- About them getting together. It's violent and dark, but it evolves into something resembling a partnership

S2- About them growing together. They realize, what they thought they wanted was completely different from what they actually wanted. Relapse of violence, which they swear off afterwards. They find support within one another.

S3- Discussing licking buttholes with the bros

"There's something I need your approval for."
He needs her to of approve him asking her dad for a hand in marriage

I sort of miss the older, less detailed art style. It's technically prettier now, but Dorothy just looks so cute and childish. She's a person that's lived an entire life already. She's a person capable of great cruelty. She's not some innocent heroine, that should blush at every moment.

Everytime I genuinely good psychological exploration of a troubled protagonist turns into "He loves her and she loves him, but she's so sad and thinks she doesn't deserve him, even though she totally does!" an angel loses it's wings Begging on my hands and knees, authors. If the main driving force of your story is that your female lead is hated,......

I LOVE YOU DOROTHY AAAAAAAAAAA
Best parts of this story:
The themes of love and being unlovable
Relationship between Ray and Dorothy (legit cried at "I'm here to kill to Ray")
Relationship between Dorothy and her knight (Uh oh the kid you picked up is suicidal)
Ethan is a little freak (affectionate)
DOROTHY DOROTHY DOROTHY DOROTHY she just wants to do what's right
They're are parts I dislike, but I binged it and I have to go to school in like twenty minutes

This monologue really shed a new light on our protagonist. No matter what she chooses, it is to serve someone. To make someone else happy. While everyone is trying to kill her, sell her off or possess her, she doesn't for once think, that it is unfair. In her eyes, the problem is not that people are using her, but that she's not useful enough to be used by everyone. I hope that maybe Shinpei will show her how to be more selfish, instead of just being happy that she's his

It's so refreshing to see enthusiastic consent on all sides. No accidents, no coercion, just two horny adults.

I think the art is very pretty most of the time, but when there are close ups on Jelack, (for example the "Because I wanna beat him" panel), her proportions change to a busty toddler. It's not a glaring problem, but once you notice it, you can't unsee it, when it happens.

I don't dislike Perez, but everyone besides him has such an interesting character design. The artist goes through the effort of recreating these Medici like dresses, totally immersing you to the story's period, only for Perez to show up with his 2020 k-pop/ can't see though bangs haircut. I think if he was more expressive, it wouldn't be so striking, but in this chapter he glares at the queen, someone who just nearly forced his one true love into a marriage with someone else, someone, who's likely an enemy, and his face doesn't change at all! You can't just put blue gradient on a guy, type "glares" next to his face and expect it to mean anything!

Thank you for this opportunity, a rant is incoming. If you read it whole I'll love you or something idk. I love Mielle from Villainess reverses the hourglass so much and I think the she was the best part of the story. In fact, after her death, the story went directly against everything it tried to establish. First, I'll clarify that this isn't ......

"why does he looks like a girl?" "Why does he look like a child?" He doesn't??!!??? He literally doesn't look like a human at all, neither of them do.

The artist clearly uses 3d models for the characters, so this must've been a conscious decision, rather than a mistake lol.
