Sister, you've got to step up to the plot, I know you have the potential to be the a truly horrifically fucked up female lead, but right now your batshit crazy lawyer boyfriend has way more chemistry with that detective guy, than his sister did with the pavement. YOU'RE BEING LEFT BEHIND IN YOUR OWN STORY AAAARGHH!!
The art style is cute and Yuu was really charming, but God, is Naho difficult to like. She's dishonest until she has no other choice and she doesn't really have object permanence? Once a character she has a conflict with is out of her sight, she doesn't think about their feelings or their complaints.
The story also goes in a weird direction? At the start it's established that Yuu is a disliked guy, who can't communicate well, who girls only talk to get close to Teppei. Then, couple of chapters later, it completely changes! Now Yuu is a guy with his own fan club, who everyone understands to be the brighter, cuter one.
It now makes no sense (except his odd codependent relationship with Teppei) why Yuu agreed to go out with Naho! He didn't know her at all, she didn't know him either, yet he previously rejected other girls who confessed to him?
His struggles with communication IRL completely go away without mention too, when I feel like it should've been the driving force of the plot.
And saying she dishonest when everyone except yuu and that one boy was dishonest and how that girl lied about who assaulted her etc and how she blamed them instead of the guys and ruined their lives oh ok being scared to correct someone that u asked the wrong person out is valid because u don’t know how people will react in reality and in manga teppie literally has 2 mask he’s so obsessed with yuu and only believes he can protect him which is scary he even copied his hair but i understand cuz of what they was going through
Would be a lot more sympathetic to the dame, if her focus wasn't just the territory. I think it'd be really interesting conflict, for her to admire who Sylvan was and loath who he is now, but it doesn't seem like any of that affection was ever there, just greed for territory.
I'm really curious as to where this will go (DO NOT SPOIL ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD), there are two very different, but reasonable endings:
Either Sylhan regains his former glory and power, or he'll make peace with a new life elsewhere. I would be completely content with both endings.
Obviously, him becoming the lord of Khalak is so satisfying. All the injustice would be corrected and he'd get to become who he was, before it was taken from him.
But he isn't the lord of Khalak anymore, he's hurt and he's content with simple happiness. His friends from the past are mostly gone and forcing himself to be a memory of a man long gone doesn't sound pleasant.
Both ending have strong negative implications also, a great deal of people would have to die for Sylvan to regain his throne, and a great deal of people who dedicated their life to the young lord of Khalak would be betrayed by him running away.
I'm on chapter nine and I can't keep going. It's so infuriating. He gets assaulted, his magic is unfairly sealed and people keep dragging him along as they please, yet it's treated as something mildly annoying. Does his seal ever get undone?????? Or is he just at the mercy of those who mistreat him for the rest of his life??
I only made it to chapter 7 and I'm dreading reading anymore of this. Why are we supposed to be okay with this?
When he was living in seclusion in the first part, it was easy. Sure, he was given a terrible deal and mistreated but at least he was able to live the life he wanted. He seemed very happy and independent. Now he's just a tool, an MP potion in the form of an onahole... And everyone acts like it's not a big deal. He even acts like it's not a big deal.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
When you address them as seme and uke in the comments, I have no idea who you're going on about. Anyway.
I believe they're reasonable adults and will switch based on odd/even calendar weeks.
"I believe they're reasonable adults and will switch based on odd/even calendar weeks." This is such a weird thing to say, because some people irl are strict bottoms/tops, not everybody is a switch and insinuating that they're not "reasonable adult" if they don't switch is just bizarre and shows that you don't really respect people preferences tbh
I'm mainly surprised that while taking my comment at face value, you focused on the reasonable adults part.
As though I was seriously suggesting that they check the fucking calendar to decide who's get dicked down.
"Blimey! I got myself all cleaned up down there, forgetting it's Monday. Oh well, this week I'm on the top duty".
Did you not read mine?? I'm sorry for trying to soften the message with sarcasm, I'll speak clearly:
I was calling you a dumbass for taking an obvious joke seriously, as not a single person alive genuinely believes that people decide sex position based on if it's an even or odd week of the year.
I don't care who's the bottom. I don't care if they switch. And I don't even mean that in a snooty "I don't give a shit about this manga" way, I mean that I'm fine with whatever the author decides to do!
I made a joke about how it's confusing to refer to them by sexual positions, when they haven't even had sex then. To idiot-proof my comment, I added a hyperbolic remark about the most ridiculous way to settle top/bottom discourse.
I didn't reply to the other person's comment, because it's just an informative fine comment. I reiterate: It does not upset me in any way that the boxer is the top, that they do not switch nor that some people don't switch.
If you even bother reading this comment, I genuinely do not know what you can be upset at, now that I've so nicely pointed out the joke, and that I do not in fact control the other gay people in my life, if they make sure to switch every week. Hooray!

Highly recommend, this shit is so funny the whole:
"Theodore is a gentleman, he would result to such cowardly tactics! And I'm not an easy lay!"
>Somnophilia addict
>Easy
Made me keel over from laughter and I don't laugh at manga often. Just perfect humor
