Bitches be like "falling in romantic love with a fictional character is pretty pathetic." and then day dream about Adele holding their hand until they fall asleep together and then in the morning you'd have a nice romantic breakfast in a small cottage outside the city to avoid all that useless trouble and now you go to work as a knight, because what lesbian doesn't want to be a knight and your wonderful wife Adele does her research that she adores so much and you spend your days together and adopt couple of kids, start a farm and live your lifestyle side by side until your last days and you die with peace in mind, because you got to spend your life with Adele.

....It appears I may be the bitches.
Loved the message and all that, it's not problematic at all, but Christ on a stick is the line "He changed just the way I hoped :)" icky. Like you could've worded that better my dude.
I think it's probably more like he means that what he hoped for happened.
As in, he hoped that his crush would change his misconception about love and understand it properly; and he did change like this; so tatsumi says that what he hoped for happened (aka. The change he wanted did happen).
The wording of this phrase sure does sound a bit disturbing and manipulative; but in tatsumi's case, he is by no means manipulative and he is actually very respectful. So in conclusion, I'm willing to understand the best case of this phrase because I love this darling so much hehee
Wow, an mc that is a genuine good person with a sensible moral code who isn't pathetic and/or annoying, but still has clear weakness?
And a male lead who's an asshole, doesn't make an exception to the mc in his asshole-ry, isn't apologetic about and there's no way that his assholery is being misunderstood?? AND he's likeable and fun to read about???
What is this??? A good piece of fiction???? Remarkable.
I feel like the story could've been nicer with three changes
1.The mc is either more hopeless or stronger. This kind of in-between just makes the mc a little boring. Too hopeless to fight for himself, but too strong to have some interesting thought process.
2. Just make the dude an adult. He can still be starved and short, but rn he looks 12. In one of the panels the love interests hand is bigger than MC's entire waist.
3. The mc has to feel loved to stay in the world. Instead of this "uh oh! We need to sleep together I guess :/", having to open up yourself so that you don't literally disappear could be fun.

What's that sound??!
(beep beep beep)
I swear I head it before...

Ah I know! It the fucking simp-o-meter going off again.
